All sold out locally as far as I can tell.
Our local retailers here rarely buy devices in enough bulk that they keep stock for 5 years.

I do still have two, but the first batches (at least) from early 2018 have a design flaw that allows juice to get in and flood the board through a small metal pin that's part of the 510 assembly.

The hack is simple:



I've done that but still would like another for backup just in case.

Thanks! Yeah the second is closer. It's not the kit and is an ex -display model. I like the Tobinho rda but it's not a deal breaker.

Just a Heads Up.

I passed on the Luxotic BF because of those leaking Pin issues. And went instead with the Wismec Surface BF because all the Pin Issues were supposed to be Resolved.

And everything went fine for about 2 Months. Like it so much that I bought a couple more. Then I noticed that the 510 connector was turning ever so slightly when I tightened/loosened a RDA from the mod. Everything was Dry inside. so it was one of those "I'm too busy now. But I'll Fix it next weekend."

Unfortunately, the Mod didn't last too many more weekends. And Died a Soggy Death due to the Board Compartment becoming Flood from... You Guessed it.. that Pin Leaking.

That Pin helps to keep the 510 Connector from Rotating in the Mod. And if the "V" in the Mod Body that seats the Pin becomes elongated, or has some Manufacturing Slop, then all the force of screwing down the RDA is transferred into that Pin. Which is a Very Poor Design.

So to stop this from happening on my 2nd Surface BF, I used 2-Part Epoxy to completely encased the Pin and both sides of the "V". The Only thing you have to watch out for is that the Epoxy Glob can't be higher than the Board Compartment sides. Else the metal cover won't screw back on. But besides that, it's a very Simple Fix.

This Second Surface BF has been used Every Day as my House Mod since I did the Epoxy Fix in May of 2019. With not even a hint of Leaking. Or any movement in the 510 Connector.

Yeh the super glue/silicone sealant combo has kept my Luxotic bfs going without dramas for the intervening years. It's a pity Wismec let that one slip in what is otherwise a good design. It's such a hard-hitter for a semi-regulated mod, and so nice in the hand.

Yeah... The Surface BF's were the Last Squonk Mods I bought. I kinda felt I had reached Squonk Mod Nirvana with it.

Perhaps you and @Fidola13 could work it out to help each other. You could get the GV Avocado 24mm RDTA she wants, from either of the 2 vendors in Australia that have them. She could get the Wismec Luxotic BF for you...that MyVaporus has in the US .

Update, LV Centaurus BF also has a bypass mode.

May also be a candidate for Evolv DNA 100C board modding, but I cannot confirm. But screen, cutouts and button location seem to possibly match.

I appreciate your suggestions.
I have lots of different mech, semi-regulated and regulated squonkers.
I just really like the way the Luxotic bf feels and vapes, design flaws and all. I still have two in working order and would like one more for spares etc.
