My SmokGX350's paint is peeling.
So I went looking for a mod with a $50.00 price limit in mind.

Then I went to Wismec site and saw the Wismec Reuleaux DNA250 Limited Edition Copper. I'm a fan of steampunk.I also have a copper OBS Engine Atty so it was instant lust.

Am I in love with the dna Chip, nope, never had good experience with the dna Chips. How about the Design it's standard Ruuleaux 3 Batteryy and I've owned a few of them.Price Nope way above my budget.

So why did I pull the trigger? It was pure style, I just couldn't resist a Bronze Steampunk Design.

Pardon the error in the title actually it's Bronze not Copper.

I threw budget to the wind and found best price of $149.95 Delivered at vapenw.com.

Actually though I'm intrigued to try the latest DNA Chip. I've never successfully vaped on SS with Temp Control. If this works then I'll be a happy camper.

I feel absolutely awful about this purchase, There are so many better uses for $150.00. I have a Reuleaux Generic in storage. but once it arrives I'm sure I'll forgive myself.

Not my photo, but this is the exact set up that I am waiting for... ;)
OOH, That is one fine looking setup.

I checked and they also have a Tesla 100W Nano in steampunk with a 4500mah battery built in. That one would fulfill my stealth mode needs, but it's sold out everywhere. Sigh...

Checked further and the 100w model has lowest resistance of .15 Ohm (Non TC Mode), my current setup is .13 Ohm so it wouldn't work for me. But the 120W that you are buying goes down to .10 in Non TC Mode. Hmm I'm tempted.!

I'm hoping that the newer 120W version is better (it is a bit bigger than the original though), as I had wanted the first version, but many have complained that it stopped working in under a year. As this version allows you to use 18650s, I'm hoping it has a longer useful life than the original. The only part that bugs me is there is no USB port to charge or update software... But it is purty.

Well it arrived and it's even purtier in real life. it's closer to copper than bronze.

I have it paired with the OBS Engine Copper and I'm definitely stylin.
I weighed it empty and it's 5gm heavier than the Rx200 so not much difference in weight

Th photo is a little darker than it appears in real life.

Using the DNA250 chip model is more complicated than the RX200 and the Smok GX350 that it's replacing, but it's worth learning.

For the first time with any TC Mod I successfully set it up on my OBS Engine with SS Clapton Dual Coils. My resistance was .13ohm and I used the SS316 profile that was stock in the escribe software. My sweet spot is 45Watts at 435"F

I'l repeat that this is the first Mod that I've gotten to work in TC Mode on SS. Every other Mod gagged and puked with temperature protection coming on regardless how I tweaked the settings.

Now I haven't tried to run it dry so I can't testify that the protection against wick dry burning works.

Guess I'm a happy camper because although I paid more I received a mod with not only a superior steampunk appearance but also a superior performing chip.

I use virtually the same settings on my OBS with dual Claptons. Wattage is a bit lower at 40W and I do use a preheat just to kick it up quickly. No issues at all, smooth as can be.

Once you have stuff like your profiles and all set up the way you like, you don't have to fuss around in eScribe unless you want to. It really is very easy for day to day use with far less fiddling around than you have to do with other mods for TC.

You are right, I set it on Thursday and it works great, I haven't had to make any changes since then.
