I loved my 2 machina's until I realized that they were denting the negative contact on my batteries. I don't think I can safely use these anymore unless I find out its ok. It's a very noticeable round dent. Please advise, and thanks!
I'm afraid that I can not. I retired my mechs a couple of years ago. I find regulated mods provide me a better vape, and are much safer to use. For me, the benefits of using a regulated mod far outweight any benefits a mech has. Thanks Baditude. Can you reccomended a tube mech that won't do this? Thanks again!
There is no logical reason why a mech mod would hit harder than a regulated mod. In fact, you can adjust a regulated mod to hit harder than a mech.I'm having a hard time letting them go... I love the way they hit so much.
I would orient the battery the way the manufacturer recommends. There is generally a good reason why.A lot of people have told me not to go posative down with the machina, and a lot say not to go up with it, so I'm confused as hell about this. I am using the 18650 adapter over the top of the posative, with posative up how it is shown in wismec instructions. If I go down with it, then it doesn't have that nice feel when I press the button. It feels wonky to say the least. In the you tube reviews everyone does it differently, and nobody can agree on the right way to do it. I think maybe the metal on the negative contact may be stronger on the bigger 20700, so I will try that next.
You should try a regulated DNA mod. Some superior chipsets do produce a "smoother" vaping expience if that is what you are looking for.I said I like the way it hits, not that it hits harder, you are right that it wouldn't hit harder. There is a certain smoothness to it that brings out the flavor better than any regulated mod I have ever used. Yeah I'm not gonna put it in upside down. I'm gonna try the larger 20700 to see if the negative contact still dents. I use the mech at .6 with an avacado. When I put the avacado on a regulated mod and set to the same wattage that the .6 gives on the mech, the flavor isn't as good.
I've not had the pleasure. If it uses a DNA, you'll probably like it.Do you like the therions?
