Wismec RX2/3 display shifted down after update

Hello guys

have just got this and its great, feels so good in the hand

BUT

just updated the firmware, all good but the display seems to have shifted down and I am loosing the bottom of the text.

It is not that the physical screen has shifted as i have held a light to it and all seems fine, it seems more like the actual display has moved down a few pixels

any idea why this has happened

Roll it back because either the update did not install correctly or possibly it is the wrong update that was used.

hello again

ok so iv tried all the four updates there are and the problem still remains

any other ideas?

to do the updates I:

1. install wismec updater with the version i want on my MAC
2. turn my rx2/3 on
3. plug it in
4. hit update (does the update)
and unplug

thats all
Is there something more i should be doing?

Welcome and glad you joined. Could contact mfg'r since it is still under warranty, this might be something that may get a lot worse over time. At least you will have a date of incident if you choose to do nothing.

So turned out to be a defective mod. Warranties are a wonderful thing and fast service!
