It got to be firmware for.two mods from the same warehouse to give me same issue no matter how the batteries are arranged and my original doesnt have that problem. I can put these batteries back in my original first purchased rxgen3 it doesnt give me this problem thats no matter how my batteries are arranged it. For the last five months i have used it one out of three has always been short .1v but new one after i use it just 3 hours there is a .5v difference

And surely I can figure something out. I really enjoy using the Wismec rxgen3 i got from local vape shop but if i had ordered it i would beg the differ. Im just glad my original still is kicking I just wanted a back-up and i get this problem....lol....just doesnt make much sense that my used one doesnt give me this problem. Like i said the vape shop one came with gnome tank ordered replacment didn't thats why i m thinking its firmware issue

The results u had with ur RX200 is the same I get with mod with gnome tank but not the new ones

I vaped my two RX200's for the better part of a year. The +- 0.1V difference in battery discharge didn't worry me and it never became a problem. If your battery voltages differ more than that let us know by how much so we can help you trouble shoot things. I took the voltage readings with a digital voltmeter to get a second opinion on the mod's voltage readouts.

Yes, do the firmware update and move on from there. Just keep in mind that a 0.1 - 0.2 voltage difference is really small :)

will do, im hoping its firmware but will do.meter check also tomorrow and let you know. Its just weird for this issue to be none existent on my original

Nate riddle, try getting hold of some LG HB6 or Samsung 20S batteries. Efest are cheap dodgy rewraps with greatly exaggerated specs.

LG HB6 1500mah 30a

Samsung 20S 2000mah 30a

@Mordacai since OP uses triple battery mod, Sony's vtc5a higher mAh would be of most benefit.
25 A 2500 mAh

Since it happens with different batteries and different battery sets and doesn't happen when you use the same battery sets in another mod, it's clearly the mod and not the batteries themselves. That's an important thing to know as it narrows down the problem. To sum up the next steps from all the advice you've received above, you'll want to:
  1. Clean the battery contacts.
  2. Update the firmware.
Those steps are very likely to solve the problem. If they don't, then we're back to the probability of a faulty mod.

Getting a new set of batteries is also a good idea, as Mordecai mentioned. It won't fix the problem of uneven discharge since that's due to the mod, not the batteries, but it's always better to have good batteries than dodgy rewraps. I'd strongly suggest picking some batteries from Mooch's recommended list here. You'll want to buy them from one of the reliable vendors listed in the blue section of Mooch's chart to reduce your risk of counterfeits.

Which battery you should pick depends on the wattage you vape at. If you stay under 110 watts or so, you can get anything except the first two in the high capacity section of Mooch's chart. If you go up to 160 watts, you'll want one from the high power section. If you're up to 270 watts, you'll need to make sure you get a battery that has a 30 amp CDR - one of the ones Mordecai listed would be best.

Good luck!

This maybe of interest.

Wismec RX Gen3 300Watt - Unequall Battery Discharge

Agree with the Efest being re-wraps and of unknown quality. But depending on the preferred wattage used, a high CDR battery may not be required in which case I would shoot for a high mAh.

To determine the needed amperage for a regulated device take your operating wattage and divide by the amount of cells. This will equal Wbatt.

Then take your Wbatt, divide by your cut off voltage, which for the RXGEN 3 is 3.3 volts, then divide by the efficiency of the device, safe to use 90% efficient if unknown. This will equal your amps per cell or Abatt

So if you do not exceed 100 watts that would be.

Wbatt = 100/3 = 33.3
Abatt = 33.3/3.3/0.9 = 11 amps per cell.

i would like to give everyone thanks for your thoughts, ideas, input, and advice. I had put some thought into batteries being the source of the problem but if that was the case it was mighty confusing that the batteries didn't give me problems while using them in old RXgen3 300w. I want to let everyone know for future reference that it was in fact a simple firmware update. after giving it some thought when I got my first Wismec RXgen3 300w it came with gnome tank making it a newer release. The newly ordered one even though it was bought new possibly had been setting in the warehouse before the new firmware release. the firmware v1.00 was the original version and new version is v1.04. I crossed check the versions on my old device and it has the v1.04 already installed. I want to appreciate everyone's help again and hopefully we can use this to help anyone else that may come here looking for a fix/ solution to uneven battery depletion of their Wismec RXgen3 300watt TC mod.
