The only Wismec vape device I have used was an RX200 (three battery regulated mod). It served me well for a year and then an issue that was common with other RX200's occured. It began having center pin issues in the 510 connector. I would have to take a tool to "tease" the center pin up to make contact with the atomizer that I was using. I'm an experienced vaper and know not to over-tighten my atomizer onto my mods, so it was not a user error.

Wismec scares me.

Devices that have problems usually have a design defect. Like the built in battery overcharging or over discharging, the 510 being leaky, the fire button getting stuck, etc. It's usually due to a poor design decision or using cheap components.

I've seen a decent amount of Wismec failures. But they're usually not due to design, they're due to bad assembly. For that reason I will never buy a Wismec product. Outside of ego sticks, joyetech for me is also a pass.

Joyetech and Wismec in my mind, are like the budget brands you find in the bargain bin at walmart or at the dollar store. You get what you pay for.

The eLeaf Picos are the exception. I know they have a good reputation.

I have a few Wismec devices and all work great, the internal battery of both CB-60 devices are still going strong and operate like day 1. The Ravage 230 is one of my favorite mods for looks, hand comfort, and solid operation. I decided to use the bronze CB-60 as my work mod and it has been beaten up quite a bit but still works great, battery life is fantastic on this device at 14 to 16 watts. Here's a few pictures of the Ravage 230 in blue and the bronze CB-60,also my wife's CB60 in purple.
