I'm a noob on the forum and to esmoking. Sorry if this is long and whiny. If I come across *itchy, please take in consideration I have no esmoke batteries working right this morning. I'm trying to have a good attitude. But so far, not good
. This once 2 pack a day, never quit in more than 30 years smoker is starting to lose the battle. I'm almost ready for that analog after 6 weeks without.
I had tried several E cigarettes in the past year. One was a basic, not big name, kit and the carts/eliquid that came with it ewwww. That one is gone. Turned me off from esmoking till the next purchase on a whim walking through mall. I paid such a huge price $$ for that knock off at a kioski. I usually research before buying things, so that was my fault paying big bucks
for an ego 650 clone. That one is gone, blinking and blinking light finally went off.
I purchased Echo 650 kit and a Joye Mega battery to use.
One of the Echo batteries didn't last more than week, died. I'm left with one Echo battery. Figured maybe eliquid got into battery even being real careful. Not fond of automatic battery. Good back up. The Cartomizer it came with *yuk, rubber tip taste* So I drip on 901 atomizer. Not bad, accepted the loss of the one battery but....now...... the 2nd one is still charging endlessly. These batteries are only a few weeks old. Use charger that comes with kit.
Now, the Joye Mega battery, about 2 weeks old, finally charges up after hours and hours and is not working up to par, very small amount of vapor. It takes forever to charge and loses charge quickly. Use the charger made for it.
I'm so frustrated. right now I'm not able to vape but little tiny vaper from an under-performing mega 900 battery. This is not good as I've been analog free 6 weeks today. I don't know how long I can last. The 711 njoy is not going to cut it to hold me over, a waste of another $20.00 that thing is.
I'm keeping equipment clean and take very good care of all. I don't' understand why everything thing seems to break down in short time.
Besides the batteries. Atty issues..... Get a atty from supplier and it's DOA. Too bad I waited to try it for 2 weeks so that warranty is not valid. I also got the mega atty, DOA. I have the ego mega cartomizer and like it but enjoy dripping for the flavor and heat. I'm buying from reputable people as well.
I was about to break down and get a prodigyv3. I read positive comments about ProdigyV3 that are positive and then read how someone received one this month that doesn't work, and didn't get customer service and return etc. promptly.
I really cannot afford the higher end variable voltage models now. Will do it if absolutely no option. I need to stay off analogs. That's the true real fortune.
With all due respect, I really mean with respect, I do not understand how metal attached to a separate price battery and addys to create vapor can cost so much. I just can't figure that one out. I can almost afford an ipod, or decent digital camera, steamers for cleaning and cooking, etc. You get what I mean. There must be a reason but I just don't know it. That is keeping me from purchasing too. Is it really worth the expense compared to Ego/Riva? Also read you cannot use certain low resistance attys on some vvs too. An Ego with low resistant atty/ compared to a vv the difference is? Is smoking above 4 or 5 V really matter?
Also a final ?. I have Mega Joye battery, 900. What is the difference of this and the Ego? Or is there one?
I found excellent eliquids on this forum. I use 24 mg. 50/50
Please help me out here. Any suggestions and input appreciated. I'm thinking of getting another Ego overnight till I find the right PV. I do have another Mega battery due today. Thankfully. Hope to make it through without analogs.
Thanks!!
