Hope springs eternal, I guess. Oh, what's the consensus on lube....I've seen noalox and vaseline mentioned. What's the consensus?

For good lubrication and good conductivity i recommend applying on threads, between top cap and tube.

Spring is made from SS, and some people want from brass, but in my opinion is not an significant difference.

Either vaseline or Noalox on the top tube threads, that's all you need.

On the Mark-T Infinity Atomiser, there will be more satin ones available this time, so as long as you're subscribed to the list, and purchase when you get the email, you should be fine. No need for a mad rush. :) Hopefully we'll get them in the next few days, but if not, then it will be once we get back from our holiday.
As to the satin drip tips, this next lot of atomisers apparently has the shined drip tips again, but Mark tells me he's working on satin drip tips. In the meantime, if you must have a satin drip tip, I would recommend the Super-T satin ones as they are a very good match. :)

Some great photos by the way!

In the land of no hills and red dirt
As an old GG hand, I've used both noalox and vaseline to lube the many parts of that mod, which is vital since oxidation in their threads can stop the flow of current to the atomizer. Noalox lasted longer, but ended up drying hard and was harder to clean. Vaseline didn't last as long, but was much easier to clean and reapply.

So, to just make sure I understand, it doesn't make a difference if either Noalox or Vaseline is applied to the threads or the protective rail around (but not on) the button?

On threads is ok Noalax, but around protective rail you must don't use Noalax, you can clear whith alcohol.
Hope to receive your Wizard soon!!!
