Hey Reeven.. I am going to start making some these out of diferent woods. I am going to make them with a brass tube in the centerfor strengh and easier to keep clean. Hopefully I will get faster and make it a small profit. I have been using one for a week and the juice is not affecting the wood yet. I just run a pipe cleaner thru it ever so often. PM me with some wood preferances and i will see what i can do. AL
I would be interested in both. Okay, the second one pictured would be to freak my daughter out. I can hear it now...Mom! That's perverted!...Oh well, I'm old so what the heck. Nice work and hope to do some business with you soon (damn, that still sounds wrong).

Also, what equipment is involved in making those? Is it expensive? If not, I could use something to occupy my hands in idle moments

Awesome man. Thats real talent right there. Just a note about flavors soaking up in the wood. i only think thats a issue if your a dripper (i am not). The vapor would not really affect it i think. However there is a food safe varnish you can buy. if your interested i will find the name of it for you. Are you using domestic woods? The one issue you might run into if you dont stain them is reaction. Some woods have oils in them that are toxic. However i can not tell you what they are right off the top of my head. Wish i had that kind of talent though they do look sweet.

The 2 tips I received are sealed and are made for use as a mouthpiece-not a drip tip. I was afraid of what the size of these mouthpieces would be and I must say-those fears subsided once I had them in my hand. Can't wait to see what Alongo has in store for his next designs.
