Wooden Mod's fear ?

I am realy likeing the looks of some of these custom wood
Box mods but I am a little concerned about splitting not from dropping but from drying out and high humidity. Am I overly concerned or is this a valid point. Reason I ask is I have bought items in other countries with high humidity and had them split here usualy in the winter because irs so dry.

It should be moved.


I would say that it should not be a problem as the wood is stained then sealed, you can always rub it down every once in awhile with some sort of oil to make sure.
