I do a lot of dripping with my Provari, and prefer 18650 mode while so doing. The extension caps rounded edge has been a cause for concern as to possible knocking over or not setting it down just flush, so today I made a nice wooden steady base for it. 2" square by 3/4" thick wenge wood, with a 7/8" hole ( hole needs to be slightly enlarged by hand for proper fit).

It even works to hold it steadily upright on uneven surfaces like this table.

Just thought I would share. Thanks for looking :)

Nice project. :thumb:
Thanks Bad :) I like the look of the Tatroe base, but I have large hands. Doing a test grip while imagining the ring flange on the base leaves me feeling choked up grip wise. I know that it wouldn't be a comfortable grip for me. I had hoped to get a Tatroe extension only from Provape to use the standard end cap, but they don't sell just the extension. This thing has worked great so far, and it is easy enough to pocket for transport. I'm going to knock out a few more to just leave around the house in the places where I tend to set my Vape down. The wife won't mind because they look nice enough, so a good solution for me, anyways...
