(to the tune of Beck's "where it's at")

I got 5 woodvils and cordless phone!

Gotta say, I'm impressed with each and every one of them. Slightly smaller than my older woodvils (which I like). The Yellow Heart/Wenge was my #1 pick (so I picked up 2!), and they live up to the hype that had built up in my mind. So amazing. The two oil finish ones (all yellow heart & lace wood) are like butter. the pimp daddy one was simply titled [HASHTAG]#356[/HASHTAG].

O Man, ... I'm about ready to throw all the other Reo's in the back of the drawer.
These are soooo comfy to hold, and the side button works much better for my hands.
I think I only want the wooden ones now.
My metal ones feel awkward, heavy, with sharp edges, and COLD
Didn't take long for me to get spoiled (and fussy)

that is all Yellow Heart. it's simple, but is also really classy. reminds me of an early 50's telecaster.

don't know why, but there are still a couple left for sale. maybe it's not as initially eye catching, but it's all heart...pun intended.

man that is exactly what happened to me, I had a nice metal one too but once I got the woodies was the end of me using metal ones. no comparison, the wood is warm and comfortable and light and just so smooth

that's a beauty right there! I too had my game changed very recently--SuperX's Odin vid convinced me to try one. I went from thinking a single coil with a tight draw couldn't be beat...to now feeling like there's no way I can ever go back.

Aah-ahem...looking for a chorus of chants saying "DO IT DO IT"

I don't know for sure but if I end up having a Friday night cocktail and if there's still Woodvils left there's no guaranteeing I won't get a third. They look so lonely and wanting to be loved. I feel like it's my job to save one more.

Trying hard not to pull the trigger tonight. Need something to look forward to after the boxing match tomorrow night.

I stripped the poly finish and sanded and polished this thing up and man this caribbean rosewood is really hard, polishes up to smooth as glass. just as smooth as my ebony, actualy this wood reminds me exactly of desert ironwood, even looks almost exactly like it side by side. I love really hard woods that can polish up to a smooth glossy finish, I couldn't possibly be happier with it

this is one coat of tung oil then a coat of renaissance wax. I also smoothed and polished the button while it was off :)

I still cannot give up my metal Reos. They can't be beat for out and about, can be washed out completely in the sink...
My woodies stay at home, and metals go anywhere.

my woods go wherever I go. I drop them and wash them in the sink when needed and have even cracked a few but it's just wood. it mends easy, and really in the end life's too short to vape less than the best every day. what am I gonna do, save them to put them in the box with me? they take a lot more abuse that you'd think :)

i used to be that way, but i learned to take my curly maple woodvils everywhere. they are almost as indestructible as the metals. possibly, even lighter than the metals, which is important since i need to use a "man-purse" when out and about
