So, after finally setting up a couple of the new Woodvil and vaping on them for the last day and a half, I am quite pleased. Rob really has upped his game, so to speak, with this wood run. I am finding the performance to be equal to the VV Grand/ VV Woodvil I have. These little beauties really deliver a powerful vape. Well worth the investment !

I'm trying to get use to the adjustable 510..I turn the thing every time I take the atty off for a cleanup and the air hole moves..lol

The first time I did that I turned the thing the wrong way with the allen key,..(and a bit too much) and out it came!
Took me forever to get that tiny thing back into the hole again.

Mine seems to self-adjust... about halfway through a day, I'll pick up my mod to vape & it won't fire. I screw my atty down again, and it fires, but it's not where it started (this is with the Chalice and I adjust it so that the hole is pointing up when I vape- but when I screw it down again, the hole is pointing to the side or down). Is this normal?

These are an alternative to the wood drip tips. I have bought a few and they last well. A plastic, maybe delrin with a wood grain and color. https://highdesertvapes.com/products/510-Wood-Grain-Finish-%28Pawn%29-Drip-Tip.html

I have had some cheaper wood tips. They turned black inside, and cracked. Not worth the money. I have a couple more expensive wood tips. They swell and really are tough to remove if you leave them on for a long time. I usually go with glass tips that match the wood.
I want to find that exact tip only a shorty... I do not like having wood in my mouth (I know, I know.. haha) won't even eat popsicles because of the wooden stick. So plastic would be perfect, just not into that shape. The search continues...

I went back to Rob's site, couldn't resist, [HASHTAG]#318[/HASHTAG] Cocobola was just staring me down, to buy, buy, and buy, had to do it, this will have to be my last one. save up for when the resins come out. Hope there some O/T at work to recover! this has been pretty rough on the wallet, wife is happy no more going back and checking to see what is still available, this time she helped out on the this one, so I know I am done.

I have been looking at # 318 for 2 weeks now. Guess the temptation is gone now. I did get # 146 earlier....

it was either that one or [HASHTAG]#323[/HASHTAG] Jatoba, tough choice, yours looks like a very nice Woodvil pick, now it is another 3 agonizing days of vape mail for me

Just wanted to pop in and say hi y'all and to thank Papaw and BK again for this awesome gift of the purple heart Woodville , things ain't been going so great for me lately and those two dam sure made me a happy old man and a Reonaut to boot ! :) The RM2 is the easiest build I've ever done , and this REO is hitting hard with a 26ga , 6 wrap , 2.4mm ID @ .75 ohms . The flavor is spectacular , got it loaded up with some 5 month old HHV Legend , the only juice worthy of christening this gorgeous mod IMO . :)

Mine seems to self-adjust
Here is a video that splains it pretty well, it's kinda intended to do that. But shouldn't move unless you're taking it off. But you can adjust it without using the allen key, cept either I don't have the hang of it, or mine doesn't work well like this on the grand. Haven't tried it on the woodvil yet, cuz it was perfect from the get go.
Hopefully this will start at 13:07, if not scroll to that and you'll see what he has to say about using that feature to your advantage

Yip, it does in my experience if you adjust the atty all the time. What I have found is that one has to really tighten the atty well in its final position.
