woot 1st ss mesh protank build

Well I did my first protank ss mesh rebuild tonight 500 ss mesh and 32 awg kanthal a1. Dont think I will be going back to buying replacement heads. Anyone out there that likes protanks and has fiddely fingers I definitely recommend trying this out. I thought I liked my protank/mvp combo before now even more, I can chain vape to my hearts content so far and no issues. See if it holds up havent put a full tank through it yet

lol i will have to snap a photo next time to busy enjoying the vape to pull it apart. What gets me is i have done a few mesh wicks on my aga-t2 and they don't perform as well as this protank build. Between my protanks and my igo-l i dont think my aga-t2 will be making the rotation anytime soon.

ripp trippers has one on youtube Rebuilding A Kanger Protank Using SS Mesh - YouTube but he uses cheese cloth with it i personally did not i would imagine there might be a few others on youtube i did add a little silica on top of my coil but nothing between the mesh and coil i just rolled the mesh over a paper clip did a 3 burn oxidation with ejuice left the paper clip in till i got it seated once the mesh was seated and the wires where in place with the rubber spacer and positive post i removed the paper clip trimed the mesh down to size with nail clippers test fired the coils all were glowing evenly put a few drops of juice on the coil and then some silica on top and a drop on there then the top post put it together and been vapin solid for a few hours now no issues
