I've never bought anything that was expensive and crappy .. but I've bought several cheaper things that turned out to be worthless. The one that sticks out most is this vv passthrough thing I bought at a vapeshop. It is basically wire with an usb connector on 1 end and a ego connector on the other. It worked fine for a couple days and then started giving me little shocks on my lips when I used it.

I bought a couple of clone rbas that were total junk. Other than that, I've been pretty lucky . .I bought stuff I don't use, like the Vision Aurora, but generally does what it's advertised to do.

My initial 600mah Ego-t tank system I bought at a B&M in Feb 2013. The guy selling them had NO idea about e-cigs, but I wanted to quit so bad I bought it for $50 ( 2 - 600 spinners, 2 tank atmoizers and these little plastic things you put about .4 mls into. Almost no vapor, then found higher VG blends. Then quit vaping and went back to stinkies as I had not discovered ECF.

Finally broke out the kit in January and got a Kanger EVOD, enuf vapor to start my quit and been stinky free since 1/22/14. The MVP COMPLETELY changed vaping for me, now I can customize my vape for each juice, tank, etc...

Now that I have seen some of the beautiful mechs out there, I have to get a gold one for show ;)

Nic Station stuff in the mall. We were desperate enough to get off cigs that we spent almost $200 to make sure we weren't going to fail. Non-VV with some pretty bad vivi novas. Thought we were living it up. Spent another $60 a few days later when we heard about a shop about 75 miles away selling spinners. Didn't want to wait for shipping so we drove.

started with ego ctwist with bcc mega tank, later bought a davide glassomizer. Never had any issues with either. I currently own a itaste svd with a kanger protank3, a authentic ar mod with authentic patriot atty (cerakote), nzonic clone with igow4 atty, and my most recent purchase was a stingray clone with nimbus clone atty. Have yet to have any issues with my equipment. :)

Three things stand out when I read the title of the thread -

Anyvape Davide mini - never, ever worked right. Dry hit galore.. yuck.
Aga-t - my mistake on this, junk.
Spitfire atomizer - looked really cool, never worked and could only hit it when I soaked the crap out of the wicks.

The two I thought was absolutely awesome until reorder -
Kanger Protank II - first one I ordered worked so well that I ordered another and 15 heads. Only 2 out of th 15 heads worked. Most tightened the draw way to much and would flood a lot.
Tidy 10 - loved loved LOVED this thing that I ordered 10 of em. Juice went straight through about 4/5 of em before I just trashed em all.

Sadly the two above kicked my sister, gf, and a friend back to cigs because they couldnt stand messing with em. Still on the hunt for a true hassle free fill and go item so I can get them off cigs.

I am currently using a Kayfun 3.1, not bad. I use a Vision vivi nova/iClear 30 for backup because I havent had an issue with either. Although I have seen some dislike for the Ego-T setups, it was my first kit I bought. One atomizer did go bad rather quickly but the other continued to work. Probably the best vape taste I had without a lot of work.

Or, as I like to call it, the worst mod ever to be released on humanity.

I bought two of them. Within two months the fire button failed on one. A month and a half later, the fire button failed on the other. I managed to go inside and fix one of them, but then the top adjustment button on that one failed as well, so it's permanently locked in the last settings that were used.

$200 in total and neither one lasted 4 months. What a waste.

Not sure it would be fair to call any of it crappy. As each led me to the next, until I finally got where I needed to go. However, my first ecig was one of the original NJoy kits and we all know how that ends. It led me to my Puresmoker Prodigy though with 801 drip atomizers. This would also be insufficient now though. But, the drip atty's led me to Boge carto's and the Prodigy gave way to my Darwin. No way I would have kicked out $250 for a VW mod without the earlier devices. The joy of the Darwin finally showed me what Vaping could be and so I bought a Provari to make sure I had a dependable back-up device. The carto's led me to tanks and tanks led me to RDA's and my beloved Kayfun's.

So rather than look at the earlier devices as a waste of money. I kind of look at them as part of a journey... A natural progression to my current state of bliss?

If you look back after 3 or 4 years of vaping, I bet you too will remember (even the fails) your early purchases with a touch of fondness. For after all, they are a part of how you got there.

It's a toss up between the Trustfire cigalikes I bought 4-5 years ago and a genny atomizer.

I spent more time fiddling with the Trustfires getting them to work than I did actually using them. but they did work in their own fashion.

The genny...I have yet to get anything close to a satisfactory poke off it yet, no matter what I try. I'm ready to sell it or throw it in the box of lessons learned, next to the Trustfires.

Worst vape gear was my kts+ i think... It worked really well in the beginning and i was a happy vaper... But after some months it began getting a hot button and then the buttom spring sorta broke off and i had to resolder it and finally the 510 threads stripped... It all just went downhill really fast all of a sudden

I paid 100 for what I thought was a chain selling ego batteries with ce4 and warrenty....I had problems after problems, then i joined ecf and say the light at the end of the tunnel. Now hit shops all the time and have more tanks and that stuff in a drawer for emergencies.

Same goes with the damn knock off vivi that worked like crap.

worst i've bought to date was the Kamry KTS+ from Slowtech. the metal was paper thin, the locking mechanism was horrible, and the mini spring in my firing button was so weak, a feather can fire it. I've had several instances where the locking mechanism failed on me in my pocket. I could've ended up with a gaping hole in my thigh had I not noticed it was firing and getting burning hot.

Not worth the <$20 I spent on it.

The SVD was my first vv. I liked it, I thought it was awesome for about 3 weeks. Then the fire button died. Would still work but lost all spring. It would hang up and fire until it shut itself down. Finally after fighting the thing for about 3 months, I went to sleep after heavily vaping, only to wake up to dead mod. I tried everything I could think of to get it running again, the only thing I could get it to do was show my last setting. I contacted Innokin because I was determined to have it fixed. They told me to take it back to the seller. I was like ...? I would have paid to have it fixed. I've since moved on to much better things. I do not recommend anything innokin makes. I much prefer the warranties on my toys these days.
