I find the Kyln vape very similar...but hey vapers have quirks so maybe one size does not fit all. The Kyln has a very nice fill port and no faults so far....have 2. The Kyln has a swivel between the deck and base so not sure how the connection will hold up with wear whereas the Unity has a collar on the base for deck alignment.
I have a just released VV V2 rda Mesh in transit and just recently got a Damm Doom Mesh...Vic reviewed it. The Doom works fine but not as easy to build on as the Kyln and Unity.

I just rewick the Unity again ...vented like you said and then I let it set for 30mins vertical and no leaking when I went horizontal. I think the top juice port needs the cotton to swell and cover those top holes....takes a bit I had even juice the cotton good before assembly.

The second juice flow ports are just above the wick guard as noted by the black arrow below. I posted a cut away picture on the first page of this thread showing this. You’ll want your wicks to be thick enough in that area to prevent excessive flow (and flooding), but thin enough so it does not restrict flow.

Wotofo states to achieve this you cut your wicks on a angle, but that angle has to be pretty precise and leaves room for error. By trimming them in line with the wick guard (dotted line), I found to be much more consistent. But in the end, you’ll want your wick profile (pun intended) to mimic the deck on the left.

Just thoughts...been using rayon mostly but have found that the Unity may fair best with cotton as it tends to swell thus better able to cover the top juice port....most important to fluff the ends of the vertical cut end when wicking, this will help cover the port quicker. I think that setting the atty upside down after filling for a bit would allow the air to exit and the wick to swell.

Screen grab from the above video with the juice and air flow highlighted.

$60 is a tad pricy for the Profile RDA. $30 to 35 CAN is average in my neck of the woods. And the Wotofo mesh is ~$4 to $5 for a pack of 10. The OFRF mesh can be found as cheap as $5 but many places have jacked the price, trying to capitalize on it’s popularity…I’ve seen as high as $20 which is robbery.

wow you are so lucky with those prices.
Down under we are blatantly robbed across the board with all things vape related.
$20 or so is typical for most 5 packs of coils, $15 for a 60ml bottle of juice and AVP mod kits in B & M stores are typically $70 to $150.
Online is the only way to find just a bit cheaper & ordering online internationally is the only way to find a decent price.

The real world, I get most things from Aliexpress (faster then Fastteck) for about the same price....sometimes Vapoureyes prices in Victoria are not too bad but slow to to stock new gear. Aliexpress has them sooner and most times I can have new stuff before Oz stores are stocking them. I live in Perth and have the same problems, high labor costs, reduced stock and the dismal exchange rates Aus/US which all add up to us being ripped.
I recently got 2 x 40ft of Rayon from Amazon.au delivered in 8 days for $50AU which is a bargain in our world.

yeah exactly the same bro.
I get most of my stuff from AE.
I've been buying a lot of vaptio gear lately at really good prices.
I've also been picking up some really cheap stuff from everzon.
Especially on the thanksgiving, black friday and cyber monday etc sales.
There is also a guy in QLD called atomic vapours who has some good deals.
I think he is closing down and he had a heap of stuff marked down
Vaporfi also have some ok prices compared to most.

Canada is fortunate that our vape gear does not quite scale the same as our exchange rate. For the majority of vape goods our prices are at least on par with the US once our dollar has been converted. But there are some items such as batteries that cost significantly more in Canada. LG HG2 are $5.50 US on IMR batteries right now – converted to CAN funds that’s ~$7.30 CAN. But the average price of LG HG2’s in Canada is about $13 CAN. However, shipping from the US to Canada is quite high, so one needs to buy in bulk to offset that cost in shipping.

I was looking for a replacement squonk bottle - it’s a proprietary design so the only place that had them was the manufacture out of the US. $10 US for the bottle, $50 US for shipping. Shipping alone is more than what I paid for the entire mod! Not worth it!

Our commercial juice prices are not too bad. Cheaper can be found in the US, and they do enjoy more of a selection, pre current CDC vape drama. But our regulations limits the amount of nicotine that can be imported in. Been a couple of cases here on ECF of Canadian members getting their juice order confiscated by Canadian customs.

I don’t shop on the Chinese web retailers. If there are any savings, they usually are not significant enough to justify the long wait times – at least with the products I’ve been interested in. Much rather pay a few dollars more if it means I can get the product in a few days vs a few weeks or longer. I suffer from severe postal anxiety and instant gratificationitis so I tend to shop more at B&M’s than I do online.

if i can afford it i dont mind paying a bit more to have it quicker, i dont think many like to wait weeks but lately ive been scraping so the only real option is to order via chinese sites and wait 3 weeks to a month.
It sucks but we get there in the end & its better than going without altogether.
Yeah batteries are a rip off here as well.
Everything vape related, & i mean everything, is overpriced here, but $60 for a squonk bottle? krikey! lol
The conversion rate to US $$$ kills us being around $0.66 USD or so for $1 AUD but in a vast majority of instances & even with shipping it still works out cheaper buying internationally.
Although I just tonight spotted a local store selling a drop dead rda for $30 & a dead rabbit rta for $35.
That is a bargain here and its only 15 mins from where i am so im going to grab them tomorrow, bugger it. Most of their other gear is pretty expensive unfortunately.

Hello people! I have a problem with my atomizer and I dont now how to solve it the right way. the problem is that it's leaking from the base and I don't know how to dissasembly it and change the gasket. i'm reffering to the part that spins.

I do not know if that part can be disassembled. I have never tried and couldn’t find anything on the web. All my current Unities are in use, when I comes time to rewick I will have a look.
