I need to get more screws for sure. Threading is awful though. U can hear it crunching as u turn. Not smooth at all. Probably one of the worst I've seen personally in my roughly 30 RTAs I have. It's too soon to really rate it as I need another week or 2 with it but I don't see it passing the exo by any means or the Aromamizer or boreas which are my current top 3. I'm running a .09 ohm build in it at 110 watts with a hard preheat on a smok gx350. Personally I like a wide tip like it has but I prefer mine taller. I really like the tfv8 tips. And they work in lots of attys like the tfv12 smok skyhook rdta box , ijoy rdta box, and a few others. I'll do my formal review of it in the next few weeks for sure

I just did my top 5 to date video. This one isn't included in the running yet but I'll update the video throughout the year

That's weird with your threads being so crunchy. Mine are good. That's what's so awesome with vaping and all the choice? Something for everyone. The boreas and the aromamizer are way to large for my purpose. They don't fit on a 24 mm mech without overhang and are way to tall. Yes there are better tanks than the troll but list one for me that is 24 mm, is really short like the troll and can hold 5 ml of juice. And can put out the same amazing flavour and vapour.

Yup very much the reason vaping is great. a product for everyone.
It's a good RTA don't get me wrong. and like you said it fills a specific need. right now the ones i have build for my mechs are the modfather (way too big lol) and the ijoy combo. But i'll see what is similar to this for sure. really depends how you vape though. I could see this so far being in the top 5 for my 2017 RTAs but like every device it has it's flaws as well

BTW i remembered 1. i don't have it but the fuji son from digiflavor. i do have the full size fuji but haven't used ti enough to form an opinion. I'm also in the process of reviewing it just like i am for the troll.

I have been looking at the Troll Rta and the Goblin Mini V3. Can't make up my mind. I tend to like dual coil better than single. I tend to stick with smaller builds. Single wire Kanthal or SS316L. I vape bewtween 45-55 watts. Which one would be better? If I got the Troll, What kind of build would I throw in it that I could vape around 45-55 watts?

The screw in my Troll RTA came slightly stuck, which led to mangling the screw while trying to remove it and having to buy a screw extractor to take that screw out.

Once it was out, I replaced them with the included grub screws and the tank's been amazing since.

As mentioned by others, i love the flavor and the room to build on this deck. The wicking is a bit annoying (coming from aromamizer supreme), but it's definitely not super difficult. Never had a dry hit or leaking issues. I did notice, however, that the liquid pools from time to time between the tank and the mod (probably from the AFC), but it's slight and doesn't bother me. Due to it's size, I have it on an AL-85 and it's been my daily since the day I fixed the screw issue.

running 36/26 claptons. 3mm ID. 7/8 wraps at 0.5ohms. running at 40-50 watts (you can turn it up higher) is a good vape for me. I tend to leave my wicks longer, enough to touch the bottom of the tank, and I haven't had problems with leaking or dry hits. I do cut the wicks at a slant, so they're skinnier toward the tip, but i make sure to leave the part that goes through the wick holes thick enough to prevent leaking. I haven't had any gurgling or any other issues with this tank.

I just got it yesterday....but I am very much pleased so far. I don't know why this little tank doesn't get more love on the forum. It wicks amazingly well and the taste is incredible. I have rdas that are bigger than this tank. It has restrictive lung type of airflow and is very smooth. I found it to be extremely easy to set up and wick. The only cons for me are: 1)It is super slippery when wet/oily (it has no grooves or knurling of any type). 2)It is hard to adjust the airflow without taking it off the mod. 3)You really can't re-wick it with a full tank. The cap is super comfortable so the fact that you can't use your drip tips isn't a con for me. I think all the cons are related to fact that they designed this tank to be super small and light....for me that is perfectly fine.
