Would A7 be a good replacement for vision eternity?

Been playing around with rda's recently in a quest to save some money from buying prebuilt atomizers. To start out with, I got an IGO-W and a vision eternity. I really like the vision eternity, except for it's a pita for me to build. I'm using 28 ga. kenthal and really struggle at times to snap the little thing-a-ma-jiggy over the post. So I'm looking for a replacement. If only it had posts with screws I think I'd be really happy.
So, in my search I see the A7 looks very similar, anyone have comarisons on these, should I pull the trigger?
What I do like about the vision eternity is the air draw, with the tube below the coil. I'm not into huge clouds, and draw by mouth and just want a simple single coil build. My other option might be to try a smaller gauge kanthal, maybe that would be easier to install on the posts. I'm using an eleaf 50w istick (which I'm really liking). The IGO-W is nice, however I really seem to get better taste with the eternity. I'm also using rayon as my wick, yep more advice from this forum :)

I have an A7, not real fond of it. It's difficult to build because it draws air from the bottom and has the air hole between the posts.

If you're looking for a mini RDA, the IGO S is pretty good. I found some here Igo-S Mini

I was using a Smok Squid but I heard they have chromed brass posts that may leach lead if the chrome wears off.

The IGO S is stainless steel and easy to build on.

I did drill the air hole out to 1/16 and I might go bigger.

I use 30 ga kanthal 5 wraps around a 2.5 mm screwdriver for 1.7 ohms.

Thanks Gandymarsh,
Funny though in that I think I like the idea of having the air hole directly under the coil. I think that goes back to using cartomizers for so many years. I think the 28g wire is just too thick for the vision to fit over the posts, I might just try 30 ga, or maybe even 32. Thanks for your input though.
I forgot the posters name, something I read awhile back, but they complained of atomizers not lasting very long, I experience the same thing, perhaps using too much voltage. But yeah, with a new build I really like it for the first several hours then I start burning the wick or .... accumulating on the coil so I'm trying to find what works best for me.

Do appreciate your feedback Gandymarsh. At first I admit I was very skeptical that anyone's coils could last a month or more, but the more I play around I am beginning to understand what you mean. Replaced the wick on my EGO-W today, dry burned the coil and it cleaned up quite well. In fact, I even tried the pinch the hot coil together tightly just for fun :) Not sure I noticed much difference but I am quite happy about how easy it was to rewick, very nice.
