I'm commissioning a friend, a VERY well known tattoo artist that I happened to have gone to high school with and we reconnected recently. He's the most popular tat artist of New England sports teams. I'm designing a filmstrip around my left leg (think scrolling 8MM film with a different picture/milestone in each frame). I was in the Navy, so there'll be a reference. I'm an IT guy, so I'm putting in the familiar power button icon. I'll have either portraits of my kids or just dates of birth. Of course some Sci-Fi (Star Wars) in there as well. Stopping smoking is one of my proudest achievements and inking something with vaping is of interest. I may be forced to buy another REO as my prototype for the tat. I saw a very cool blue model in a recent post.
Can any of you suggest how you would portray the mod for long term visibility in a tat? I've considered a self-photo of me sucking my VV closeup (partial face) with dragon vape coming out of me' nose.
