Hi Guys! :) I'm 6 days off the cigarettes today! :) I would have never been able to quit if I hadn't discovered vaping!

At the moment I am using an eGo K with a Kanger MT3 tank. I'm enjoying it, but already I'm looking for something with more of a kick. I am 41 years old and I was a cigarette smoker for 26 years. I am enjoying vaping with my eGo K, but its still missing something.

There are some amazing looking Mods on the market, but some of them are crazy prices! I saw one that looked and sounded amazing! But when I added up all the bits and bobs that I needed to go with it it all added up to over €300!!! I just wouldn't have that kind of cash to spend on an e-cig.

So, I've been looking around and I came across these ones. I'm not really sure if they are just fancy e-cigs or if they are Mods? I wanted to know if these are any good? Would they produce more of a throat hit then my eGo K? (I've tried loads of different flavoured e-liquid. ie. fruit, tobacco etc. I prefare tobacco flavors, but I'm still not getting enough of a throat hit even though I'm using 34mg of nicotine.) Also would they vap better and would they have better flavor? Would the batteries last longer? (So many questions!)

Or are these more or less the same as my eGo K with the Kanger MT3 that I use?

Here is what I was looking at:

Ismoka iGo Starter Kit (Silver) Vapourpal
or
Innokin iTaste SVD Express
or
Joyetech Evic

Would these be better then my eGo k? If so, would there be much of a difference? Which one do people think is best? Or is there another type in this price range that would be better? (Prices are in €uro because I live in Ireland)

All advice will be much appreciated! Thank-you!!! :vapor:

from what i see the ego k is not any differnt than the twist is use. the real problem your having is either the kanger or your juice.
i have used the kanger t2s and t3( same as the mt3) they are good for light vapers. i have rebuilt them many times just never got the to work well. try another tank. currently i'm using Smoktec terminator tt tanks BIG DIFFERENCE!!!! i have on the side some Vivi tanks as well these work great too.
or maybe juice is the culprit here. the blending makes a difference more vg for more clouds and more pg for throat hit i personally prefer a 70vg/30pg blend give me he best of both worlds and wicks well too.

Hi Ructions - no, those have quite a difference to your Ego-K. Those are what we call mods. They have replaceable batteries and are capable of a lot more power than an ego.
I don't know the Igo. I have an Innokin iTaste SVD - great mod. Variable wattage and variable voltage, takes different size batteries, has an ohms check, low battery cut off and other features.
The Evic has variable wattage and variable voltage too - and other features including being able to pug it into your computer and get a personalised vaping profile. You can also download any upgrades from a computer.

I have a blog post that looks at 4 main mods of these types - including the SVD and the Evic - it here if you are interested:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ariable-wattage-variable-voltage-mod-get.html

If you get one of these you need the right kind of batteries. IMR batteries are the ones to get - they have a safer kind of chemistry and can handle high drain. These:
AW IMR 18650 - 2000 mAh High Drain Battery - the 18650s which are the fulll size for most mods.

Those are the best and most recommended - the AW IMRs. If the mod youbuy telescopes pr takes different sizes you can also use smaller Aw IMRs like these:
AW 18350 IMR High Drain Battery

Hope that is all of some help.

Oh, I just checked out that Smoktec Terminator TT Tank. Its not recommended for beginners. I've been just one week vaping today. I'd be worried that tank might be way too difficult to use.

I wonder if there is a more simple version of that tank?

You can use your Kanger MT3s with an Innokin iTaste SVD or an Evic. You will be vaping the MT3 on a pv with a lot more power capablitity, and will be able to vary the temperature of your vape.

Another tank you may want to look at is the Kanger protank:

Not really i believe it's if you want to rebuild it yourself. The wick and wire sits in a little ceramic cup that's fragile. You can buy the whole atty to replace if your not adventurous. The hardest thing I findso far is the feed screw it's hard to open or close it with out removing it from the battery but it wicks so well I don't have it open much
