Would this be a stupid move?

So I ordered the Sigelei 100w plus on fasttech (of course my card has been charged, so essentially it's already been paid) and what do you know, it's in restocking status now >_<

So, being the impatient kind of person that I am, I had a poke around their site after watching Twisted420's video review of the Cloupor T8, I'm kind of tempted to see if fasttech will switch my order from the 100w plus to the T8 (they have red in stock, everything else is pretty much the same status as the Sigelei)

So, what are you thoughts folks? Is it worth being more patient? Should I hold out for the Sigelei to restock or should I just pull the trigger and swap the order?

I'm aware of the issues people are having with the T8 not giving a full 150w, but to be honest, I don't think I'd be pushing the Sigelei anymore than about 75 anyway!!!

Looking forward to your advice...

(BTW, update on another post I had on my new subtank.......awesome tank, but, definitely for only at home though, the thing is a monster!!)

Cloupors record of building reliable long term mods is MUDD.....


I suggest waiting for the Sigelei.

I kind of get the feeling that the Sigelei is of a better build quality, I honestly prefer (most) of the styling on the T8, the screen (to me) looks much better. But, I am a little worried that I'd regret opting for the T8 (I did a lot of youtube research before pulling the trigger on the Sigelei, I haven't seen anywhere as many reviews of the T8)

I know of 2 folks that tried to upgrade the firmware and the unit bricked....



Lots of other folks around here having problems with the T8 and T6.

I have no experience with high-watt mods, but I *can* tell you that the Sigelei I own, the Zmax telescoping, is of absolutely superb quality; hard to even imagine better quality than this thing. I've used it since April, and it has NEVER let me down. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Sigelei.

I have a cloupor hana clone that's been good to me.

That said, I'd totally wait for the Sigelei. The yihi boards and build quality are far superior and well worth the extra wait.

Make sure you can find 2 fresh 18650 batteries to power it.

I have a Sigelei and man it is awesome. Don't have any first hand experience with cloupor bu they get regularly bashed for quality.

And mine is the version 1 with none of the improvements and it has been very durable. Bounced it off the concrete once hard enough to knock out the door magnets and it still fires like a champ
