It probably could work as a band around the middle of the Chuck with the background color above and below it. But if you want a full wrap, it needs to be taller than it is wide (in the ratio Warped gave you.)
1. The image as-is is shaped wrong for a Chuck (either size). Large/regular Chuck is much taller than wide (whereas your image is wider than taller). It could work if down sideways though fairly closely.
2. You mention taking out the background. That can be done but also consider the fact that the b/w dog's left ear and chin are cut off already. And the tan/white dog' lower front is not visible either. You could just do their faces (the b/w dogs cutoff ear and chin could be replicated fairly easily) but if you want their full body another picture would work better (or a fair amount of Photoshopping would be needed to put in what isn't there).
3. Their tongues are not visible? I'm sure it's just an oversight but I'm positive you'd want the tongue visible!
Ha! I just realized about the tongue thing. LOL. I think I'm going to forget the dog pics for now and work on more of a graphic plan. Though I'd love my Chuck to have my babies on it, right now I don't have the time to play with it. Thanks!
