Would you date a smoker?

The mere thought of dating makes me want to puke..cigarettes or not...
I too am married to one. I have only been smoke free myself for 11 days. But it is having an amazing effect on him. While he does not seem interested at all in vaping, his intake has been cut drastically all of the sudden! I am hoping he can quit too.

I'd date a smoker but I'm sure my wife wouldn't be to happy with this happening. But on the other hand my wife is still a smoker and has made very little effort to quit smoking and switch fully to her e-cig.

I would not, Unfortunately. Its nothing against the Smoker, and I used to hate people who wouldnt date me because I smoked. But, Sorry, First off, My willpower is not strong enough to not have a cigarette, once the smell stops being disgusting, and if we lived together, I would smell like cigarettes still, and be dying from second hand smoke, All the reasons I quit.

So I wouldnt. I want the benefits of vaping. If she was willing to quit before we moved in, and switched to vaping, then maybe. I would talk very early on in the relationship. Like.. Switch to vaping, No, Okay, after tomorrow morning, I probably wont see you again.

I would never do that. Mainly because my wife would kill me if I was single absolutely I would. I don't hold mistakes against ppl, especially mistakes I've made myself.

did I have to mull it over because being newly "quit" yeah, I really have to say I don't like being around the ciggie smoke of a lot of our friends, I do however love our friends and I still will just on our patio not in our home, OR when out and about just get upwind, just as my nonsmoking friends that are so happy I have quit, tolerated it...but liked being with me. And I was respectful, went out where they weren't out of doors..etc.

Idk I used to date smokers and well i was a smoker but maybe all she would need is a little help in the right direction and if i find a gal that is mechanically inclined as me we could make a date night out of drilling our pro tanks?......thats what your supposed to do right?

A little off topic but I smoked the whole time I was with my ex and she was a non smoker. I never understood what it was like to date a smoker til I quit myself. Now I understand why she used to complain about it Lol.

My girlfriend is a smoker, and at first I was glad to have an excuse to bum an analog from her occasionally. Now, after almost 7 months into the relationship, I've converted her, and we're both two weeks analog free. I'm faring a little better as I've been vaping for much longer, but since she has already started to see the changes in her body from the transition (doctor confirmed yesterday) I think she just might stick with it. So proud.

Eh, smokers smell terrible to me now, but I wouldn't want a non-smoker nagging me about when I'm going to quit vaping all the time. So eh, whatever as long as they're fun to be around.
