I went in Friday for my first kit to a vapor B&M about 30 minutes outside of town. They came highly recommended by every vaper I know here. All the places in my city sell knock offs/fakes, and the employees knew next to nothing about what they were trying to sell me.

I checked the prices online for buying all of it individually, and yea, about $20 cheaper. But: for a newbie, I loved getting walked through the process, shown all the parts, how to clean it, etc.

As I get more into all this, I'm sure I'll order some things online instead of driving up there, but for now, I like being able to sample flavors and talk to a real person. I can shell out the extra $ if it means I'm understanding what I bought when I walk out.

I too know what you're talking about by the b&m markup...but front the shops I've been to, it only seems to be the tobacco shops that don't specialize in vaping that go crazy in pricing.

I went to an actual vape shop in Panama City beach last year while on vacation, and their prices were closer to online I.e. $8 for vision clearomizer, $20 for ego variable battery, etc. their only expensive stuff was their juice...like $28 for 30ml.

I now only order from Vaperite since its so close to home...orders come pretty much the next day. And while their prices are competitive, their customer service is top notch. My order that came in today was supposed o have a free 3ml sample of Kona Cream, but apparently they were out when their site said it was in stock, so they gave me 3 French vanilla 3ml samples instead, on top of everything else I ordered. Sure, not the flavor I wanted, but an extra 6ml of juice free to satisfy the customer? Sure, I'll be glad to accept it. And I'll keep my orders comin!

I think it depends on what you are buying. I bought my EGO-T kit online because it was 35.95 with 5.95 shipping and no tax vs 109.95 plus tax, a no-brainer. I found a shop close to home that is great for support so far, so I may pay more for other add-ons and juices. The other shop also has 50/50 juices which I find less irritating (personal preference).
