Went to the Derby City Classic in Louisville in 2007. Used to hit several of the Camel Pro Tour events before it stopped. Didn't play well enough to play with them but I met a lot of the greats, Corey being one of them.

We used to go to the derby every year and my old crew still does. I live in south Florida so I don't make it up as much as I'd like too.

I saw Efren run 6 racks of 1 pocket on Corey for $500 a game in Columbus somewhere around 1998-2000. Of course Corey was being staked, he never plays on his own money.

I saw Alex Pagulayan in Madison, Tn. over by Nashville at one of the Camel events. He was too young to even enter the tournament. He was out front taking on all comers playing one pocket for 2 grand a game. When the tournament was over he went back and challenged the winner to play. Guy told him no way. Said Alex would be the best in the world someday if he wasn't already.

I used to have a GF that made a great Sheppards Pie, sometimes instead of mashed taters, she would use tater tots. Unfortunately that was the only thing she knew how to make.

She was incapable of toasting a Pop-Tart or an Eggo?

did you know Bill Cress? he was WELL known.. he was close with Jimmy Mataya...

Not really. I've heard the name before but I'm pretty sure that is a different generation. I ran with guys who are in their mid to late 30's now, and the Asians. Would make a trip to Indy a couple times a year and stay at Janet Lee's house. Jose Parica a couple spots. Efren when he and his 10 stake horses were around. Alex was good friends with Corey.

I haven't really talked to those guys in 5 years or so now. I've been married 8 and a 5 and 6 year old at home, I had to stop going on the road so much. And my eyes went bad, I can't see to hit a ball anymore.

So I play poker.

Yea, Corey and Alex played together for years.

yeah, I'm going to the dr tomorrow..
I have had it up for over 3 days now since the night of the 4th, on my B-Day, and have just been sitting on the sofa
with my leg up... it's not feeling any better at all...
I tried wrapping it, but it makes my lower leg swell up...
Ice helps a little.... But, is a pain in the .......

Hopefully, they will see what is wrong tomorrow...

Odd thing is she could bake pretty well, but wasn't a good cook. She made a deal with me that she would do the dishes and laundry if I did the cooking. That as a good deal for me.

Efren and Arturo used to live with a friend of mine, Bernardo...
we used to go sing Karioki...

They used to play a LOT in Seattle.. players from ALL over the world came to play them..

yeah... I think I MIGHT have been before your time..

Every time I hear Jeanette Lee, I think of Linda Carter.....
I used to play her a LOT...

yeah, I now pick up a cue ONCE every 10 years...
If I played more, I would play pretty well.... I just need to play MORE...
It REALLY upsets me.. because I was GOOD... But, you have to play everyday
to keep the game...

I quit smoking because because my family has a history of heart problems, I quit poutine for the same reason, as for Tim's I'll drink it if there's nothing else, I don't like it much, I prefer a more Italian style coffee like a Dark Napoletano (Italian)... I know I'm not a typical Canadian lol
