The why is simple - Random Drawing

Yes, you had many entries, but still no guarantee of one of those entries being selected. 1 of Thousand could win, or 1 of 1 could win.

I think, people often mistake Contest entries for Purchase points. Unlike school fund raisers where the class with the highest total gets the field trip. This is much like the lottery, where you may purchase a lot of tickets, but not necessarily the right ticket.

It's a weighted draw, so the more points you have means you get more chances in the random draw.

Ruther Glen is a hole in the wall but if your not a fan of the city it a perfect place. It's a little country, with lakes large enough for water sports.

I grew up in southern Va. Know just what you mean. I loved the country and spent much of my time on the rivers and a few nice lakes.(Dismal Swamp - Pre-Government control)

Still prefer life outside the cities.
