No, I thought it was just for TC. I have to read up on it because I do want to use that. I've heard good things about SS. I have a giant roll of SS that I've used in the past for jewelry but when I dug it out there were no markings on the roll. Don't have any idea what type it is.first, WOOT for wick maintenance!

oh - lol - have you tried any SS wire in wattage modes? prolly my current fave, and a lot of mods are starting to support it in TC also (or, in a lot of cases, you can use Ti mode and a temp offset)

hrm - if you know where you got it, might be able to check - i have been getting some good prices on 26g SS 316L from Fire Mountain (used to get almost all of my jewelry making stuffz from them) and Unkamen has some too... the ss 430 is supposed to be very good also, but have just used 316L so far (have it in my aromamizer, cloupor a1, obs crius currently)
