The tobacco flavor I get is light, maybe flue cured, honey flue or Carolina. It's not overpowering but blends well with the citrus flavor.

Yea, it is listed under a Tobacco section...by smelling it, you would never think Tobacco...It smells SO GOOD! I also can not describe the flavor or smell...except yummy!!

'Just went to the Flavourart site. Oba Oba is not listed under "Tobacco"; it is listed under Passion flavors & Sweet flavors.

If you remember Brach's 'Pick-a-mix', there was a soft/square candy that was white with little chunklets of jelly-like translucent flavors (perhaps like candied citrus peel?) . It tasted a lot like a soft vanilla-marshmallowish-meringe, and the little chunklets gave more intense bursts of flavor.

I've seen several posts/reviews on various forums that say it's like that candy.

I mixed some up last week at 10% - and to me it IS a LOT like that candy. Fwiw, I get 'nothing tobacco' out of it at all - ymmv, of course.

I LOVED those things! Oh, those little chunklets!

Hey Rin, if you like those you should try FA's Shade and Ecx 234 Sam Soe. Both are very different and very nice if you like a moderate tobacco on the slightly sweet side. Hpno is a lot of fun experimenting with. Difficult to mess up a recipe with it as the main tb ingredient.

I placed my order for this flavor last night. Been hearing great things about this for too long and finally bit the bullet. Got the Hypnotic Mist as well

'Kind of off-topic, but since so many folks seem to mix the two...

I've got TFA Hpno/Hypno (which to me, is almost a dead-ringer for the soda pop previously known as Fresca - citrus blend with very noticeable/intense citrus zest & grapefruit flavor - not at all "gentle").

But I don't have FA's Hypnotic Mist, which from the reviews on ECX seems like it might be substantially different.
Some quotes from the reviews on ECX:
--very nice pleasant flavor. Hard to describe for me it seems to be an Italian kind of candy
--I mix it at 12% which may be a little higher than most but I love the flavor! I'd try to describe the taste but I just can't put my finger on it. If relaxation was a flavor, that would be it!
--My all day vape and a goto after vaping more challenging flavors, herbal and sweet with hints of citrus flowers. Mixed at 6% this is very nice to end a long day.
--Unlike anything you have tasted. Very herbal
--this is a very 'refreshing, light flavor'
--Phenomenal. Herbal, sweet, slightly fruity. It's tough to pin down the component flavors, but it tastes excellent. I use it at around 5%

Anybody try both? What the difference/s? What percentages?

Also, for those that have tried Oba Oba - what percentage are you using? At 10%, I think I may have overdone it (as it's very good, yet it seems like it might have that 'over flavored lack of flavor thing' happening).

Yeah, I've tried both.

TFA's is a citrus kinda' like a Fresca/Sprite-ish and everyone I've handed it to says much the same.

FA's is hard to pin down. It changes each time I try it to me. My son says it tastes like marshmallows while my sister says it taste like fruit loops and a good friend says it is like diet 7up. I say the tastes changes with each vape, but it's good, so I quit trying to explain it to myself. (And, yes, I sometimes worry about my son...I don't detect anything like marshmallow in it...)

Thank you Hoosier (oh so much)!

Alrighty then, 'on my way to ECX to get a bottle of Hypnotic Mist (along with a bigger bottle of Oba Oba).

Btw, I checked the reviews at Liberty Vapes tonight - and apparently there's quite a few people that agree 'it changes evey time they try it' (not that any one here strives to be like anybody else :::grin:::)

I actually already bought Sam Soe and didn't care for it. I don't care for clove... unless you can recommend something for it? Shade, I've been wanting to try but I just got a bunch of FA tobaccos in a trade, so I'm messing with those first. (Burley, 7 Leaves, Perique Black and some other branded tobaccos as well) (Peace, Latakia) Peace is really good. Not sure where it's from but it may be Dekang?

I can tell you about the Hypno when I get it. I've had Hypno from TFA. To me, it tastes like Hypnotiq Liquor exactly. Beyond that, it taste similar to Squirt pop, which I imagine is close to that Fresca you mentioned. For the TFA I did 10%
