15 year smoker. Smoked disposables for a week and started to realize they wouldn't work long. Found out about real vaping just using a simple Ego-T battery and a regular cotton filled cartomizer but WOW. I can't believe I don't even want a real cigarette in fact, the amount of vapor and flavor seems better than analogs! I really never thought I would stop smoking. I couldn't be happier. Looking forward to learning more and growing my vaping collection. Id really like to try a clearomizer next.

Welcome Tom , and there are plenty of clearo's , etc that are made for the Ego's . Try out a few of the different one's and find out which one's you like the most . I have been using some Mini Vivi_Novas on some of my Ego's . Like them alot , and you can either buy spare heads for them , or even re-coil them yourself . Very cheap and easy to do . Good Luck

Thank you to both of you. I was a little overwhelmed looking through all the sites and wasn't sure what would fit what. I wanted to try the Kangler T3's but then I read a lot of problems people were having. Maybe I will try the Nova's. The reason I want to try them is so I don't have to keep refilling and worrying about burning out my cotton style Joytech Cartomizer.

Congratulations and welcome!

Don't run out of supplies. If you have a local vape shop nearby- great. If not order up another battery, some cartos, juice and a clearo, if that's what you want to try.

I would have NEVER discovered this without a local. I live in MA and found easternvapor in Saugus MA. I'd love to support local business but the supplies online are cheaper and he only has the basics. I didn't see any clearomizers so I will ask him why next time I stop in. I wanted to try it out first but now that I know it works I will be buying at least a couple batteries. I have to say I am VERY impressed how long this one Ego is lasting. I charged it last at 3:30 and have been vaping a lot and it is now 9:30 with no problem. I am just learning but I am not sure if I should stick with Ego's or order different kind of batteries and there is so much out there.

I don't have a local B&M for supplies so do all my ordering online and I did feel guilty about "cheating" on my initial vendor because they were so great. But what you learn is that if you stick to the recommendations all the suppliers are generally great. At least that's been my experience so far. So get out there and explore!

I'm getting a little jealous here.:toast:

45 years smoking, and an eGo kit and clearos got me off in about a week.

Yes, I, too, recommend variable volts, either the Spinner or previously mentioned Twist. Spinner is said to be easier to read / adjust, but since I don't have a Twist, I can't say.

You'll find all sorts of advice here at ECF. Just remember the bottom line - no matter what anyone says, what works for you is what's right for you. That's all that matters.
