Hi guys, I have a Wismec 2/3 and I have matched the Druga with my new TFV8. I noticed that the standard 0.15Ohm coil of it is read with a value ranging between 0.17 and 0.18. Is this normal considering that in the videos the coils are read perfectly from any box?
I wanted to point out that the Wismec PIN is slightly rotated, but I do not think this is the problem, because having it from the purchase and the Druga works flawless as my friend's Goon 1.5.

Yes, a slight variation of a few hundredths of an ohm is normal

You'll 9/10 times have a different 0hm reading on all devices.
Okay, so there isn't any problem. Thanks :D
These coils are made in a Chinese sweat shop, not an laboratory. A few hundredths of an ohm is of no consequence.
My concern is that the rotation of the PIN is the cause, but having studied this in Physics, the surface of the contact is influential and not the rotation of the two bodies (the two PINs) itself.
Because the PIN of the Box is squared and rotated while that of the TFV8 is circular, and geometrically speaking the electric conduction has the same range.
Tl; dr: it's just my fixation, there are no perfect PINs.

we should be amazed that we have ohm checkers that measure down to the hundreths... its like having a speedometer on a car measure the speed in inches per second instead of miles per hour.

Okay, just a little more question: my Q8-prebuild (Quad Coil) coil losses liquid, and I'm not the only one with this problem, so I've mount the T4 (the Single big coil) and the tastes.. well, there's no tastes. Seems like to vape air. I try with ApplePear 80/20 and BestMelon Kick 70/30, same problem.
Should I mount the Q8, or ri-generate the RBA base to get more tastes or my T4 coil is faulty?

Kind of hard to know. What wattage are you vaping at? It's possible it's a faulty coil, that does happen. If you don't have another coil to try, you could certainly use the RBA (or is it an RTA?) deck to build on, although if it's your first build, you may or may not find it complicated. I'm assuming you are certain that your coil is correctly seated and you've primed it well and have slooowllly moved up in wattages, not going OVER but UP TO the recommended coil wattage?

I know one Smok coil was known to have issues, if you have a vape shop near you with competent employees, sometimes a second look is helpful, or you might try posting a pic? Sorry, I'm not a smok user so I'm going off my memory from past posts.

Good luck,

Anna
