So, the rest of yesterday was horrid. Won't even go there... I did, finally, try some WTA Max PG, am blending 24 m.g. with 6 m.g VG half/half, in a nautilus 2 with a 1.8 coil. (Max airflow, 14 watts).

I really like it. I've used vape stuff off and on for a few years, quitting successfully once but only for two weeks, and I've never been able to go below 2-3 cigs a day again (often more). I have to say, whether it's a higher nic content, the alkaloids, or both, I think this will very much give me the ability to Nancy Regan my last few cigarettes. I'm using it intermittently when I have major cravings for cigarettes, and it seems to really be helping. TBH I don't want to take the tank OFF, but I am, from time to time :) I wouldn't recommend this to someone unless they'd tried various devices over a fair time and hadn't quit successfully, like myself, and I don't want to be using it every time I vape as I hope I can use it transitionally, but that said, I think it's better than smoking, way better... I can be around smokers now with that tank in my hand, also helpful.

I do have a few questions, not sure if all of them are answerable.... I was told with max VG (I can't use PG) that my coils would probably gunk/die more frequently.... Is WTA likely to speed up that process?

I used to be fairly cavalier about my coils, but I don't want to be this time as a) lungs, etc. and b) I want to make the most out of my e-cig exp. WIth bottom loading coils (I have a top loading tank) is there a way to be able to tell (besides taste, I'm not the best at tasting burnt/dirty coils, and believe me, I've had them) is there anything I can/should be looking at re: the coils, also, how low can I let e-juice go before emptying/adding new flavor and is that when I should be looking at my coils and what, exactly, should I be looking for? Or should I just change them once a week, regardless? Is there a way to clean a dirty coil, and is it worth the effort?

Oh, also, this seems weird.... Do certain flavors/compounds dry out your throat more? I was using mostly a vanilla based liquid yesterday and became so hoarse I could hardly talk. I'm using all peppermint today (BUT I AM going to go buy some more flavors later today, peppermint's great... to a point) I know cinnamon's bad, are there any other flavors to stay away from if you're particularly sensitive to sore throat... I've had that on multiple occasions as a smoker and I'm sure part of it is detox, but it seems I can't use my vanilla stash (which is rather large, unfortunately). Any thoughts/ideas on that and reducing dry throat, generally (I use ricolas, I salt water gargle and part if it's probably my own fault for smoking a Bridge Too Far....) that and I'm chronically dried out/dry mouth anyway due to my meds... I do drink a ton of fluid, but honestly right now it seems vanilla's the culprit....)

Thank you, to anyone who might have some knowledge on that for me.

Anna
