X2 charging questions and concerns

I have a couple manual 650 X2's and one manual 1300 X2. I bought the 1.5 wall charger because I heard that was the only one that would charge the x2's. it takes forever to charge them especially the 1300. It takes about 18 hours for the blue light to go off which I hardly ever do because I need to switch them out. The last time I let the 1300 charge until the light went off when I put my T3 on it tasted totally burnt for hours. It was like it was charged too much or something. I have also read where you shouldn't charge them unattended or while you're sleeping. That's usually when I charge them. I don't want to burn my house down or something. Do I have faulty batteries or does it take that long to charge them? I've had the 650's for several months and the 1300 a few months.

I have the 900 manual X2 they take 7-8 hours to charge. I let mine charge over night without any problems
