Xbox live down?

So last night I get home from work expecting a little Brink action ( not a very good game but gamefly had a sale and for 6 bucks I figured what the heck ) but no XBox live.

Test connection---> Network? Check. Internet? Check. XBoxLive? Not so much.

So it was back up this morning, but it's just my 19 month old daughter and myself in the mornings so YoGabbaGabba and Sesame Street reign supreme at those times. So thank god I didn't have to try to explain to her that I couldn't access netflix.

Then I get home tonight, looking to try my hand at the Brink ( because I pretty much suck at FPS console games ) and same frakin thing. No XBoxLive!

Frustrating!


But hey stuff happens.

Is it happening to anyone else?

Had the same thing happen to me a couple of times over the last week. Network and internet connection fine, but no Live. The 1st time i just found something else to do. The 2nd time i power cycled my router and then it was fine and i could connect to Live again.

Hmm. I figured because the router was working with the other devices it was fine.

I will definitely give that a shot if it happens again tonight. Thanks!

Just out of curiosity more than anything, is the network stable yet? My XBOX live subscription came up at the middle/end of January and in the week or two leading up to it I could only sporadically connect to XBOX live. For the past 8 months I've only used it for Netflix and I wired in the downtime my laptop to my TV so ... no more XBOX Live here.
