I had my second xbox 360 fry out on me. I sold all my crap and bought a PS3.

You have a blu-ray and free online, but a crappier title secetion, my friend... in the long run the XB360 is worth it. And if you bought it around 05-07 you have a three year warranty due to manufacturer issues at the time.

I love the selection for my PS3, although I'm not much of a gamer and watch a lot of movies the PS3 is perfect for my needs. Although I'm slightly jealous of this project Natal

but isn't the PSeye kind of doing the same thing, interacting? I don't know never used it and never seen it.

Natal has great potential. We will have to wait and see the results.

The Sony Eye is just a camera. Sony's new motion toy is the Motion Wand. Sorry I can't post links to it.

I was doing a little digging into the sony eye, and it appears it will be trying to compete with the Natal, so therefore no one loses out. How much it competes and how interactive it gets I have no idea, but either way it's cool. I got my PS3 for free, don't know which one I would have bought. I love the blu-ray player, and the fact that I've always had playstation.

Yes, xbox has a much bigger variety. I'm Not much of a big gammer either. I'm an "old man". I only play online war games. I don't do games like Halo, Gears of War, sci-fi stuff. I stick with "real" life combat gaming. Anything else is "child's" play to me. COD is my favorite series. Sony is coming out with some awesome titles this fall. I am so looking forward to MAG, I could **** my pants! Hopefully it won't suck.

I stopped repairing my 2 RROD xboxs, and just bought a Jasper Core 360. And I love it. No more xclamp mod adjustments. I took one of the old ones to the shooting range already to introduce it to a little real "1st person shooter" action. Boy did that sucker explode!

All in all, the 360 is a good system (Post-nov. 2008) They have fixed the uneven chassis standoffs and have gotten rid of the hot GPU/CPU, both of which contributed to MOBO flexing which unseats the solder joints of the cpu/gpu and causes ALL RROD problems.

We got the 360 Elite for the family for Christmas this past year and it has stood up wonderfully. There are times when we've run it for 12 hours straight and it never overheats. Doesn't even really get warm. That said, I do have Xbox live, but have never played online. Hubby and Son do occasionally though. I mainly play Rock Band 2 and Soul Caliber for group type games and am totally hooked on Beautiful Katimari when I want to play something alone.

I've been playing Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead and Halo 3, amongst other games lately. Tag is Hardcore Nick.

See, I've always sucked at these games (guitar hero as well) because I actually play guitar and when you play an instrument, you develop certain instincts as to where notes are, direction, etc. That TOTALLY works against you when playing these games lol.

Yeah, I play piano so it doesn't hurt my playing the games thankfully. I tried to learn how to play guitar, but I have really small hands (only 5' tall) so it didn't go so well :). The only problem is that my son laughs at me because I play on medium and that's "lame".

Do any of you play MMO's? I playaed WoW, WAR, and am now waiting impatiently for Aion to come out in Sept. and playing as much as possible on their beta weekends. I keep telling my hubby how lucky he is that he doesn't have to beg or bargain to get to play his games, or buy bigger better TV or computer equipment, because I'm as addicted to them as he is.
