Xtar VP1 or Pila IBC (Chargers)

Seems to me, the xtar is the better choice, as it has the real-time voltage/battery level display.

But then again I don't know anything about charging lithium ions.

I plan to use it to charge my Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900mAh batteries.

The price-point is pretty much the same. Any help is much appreciated.

i had the make the same decision a few months ago. i went with the xtar VP1 and am very happy with my purchase.

I'm waiting on my Xtar VP1 right now. From the couple days of research I did I believe it to be the top of the line since the Xtar VP2 has had complaints for certain things.

I just got the xstar vp1 about a month ago and its a beast. I have a pretty new nitecore i2 and its a pretty solid charger but with a sony 30 amp it takes forever especially with 2 on the charger. The xtar vp1 blows it out of the water, it chargers 2 30 amps in under an hour. Dont get me wrong, im not bashing nitecore, just comparing what I see and I still use both.

I got the vp2 and love it. I could of got the vp1 because i dont use the USB port but its a nice feature and i seem to always have to have the latest version of something...
