XTAR VP4 or Nitecore D4.... Discuss

Ok, which would you pick? And which one are you currently using?

for nitecore d4, i thought they usually compare with xtar vc4?

Apparently from what I remember, somebody told me that xstar charges faster because it supplies higher amp? I think the difference is like around 2 hours of charging time. To me, not much difference between the two charger leh. Like as if 2 hours of charging will cause me any inconvenience when I have so much spare batt. Hahaha, currently using the nitecore d2 and it's been serving me quite well.

D4 charges standard AA,AAAs.
Only thing xtar excels is charging speed which probably as what @Karstine said not much difference. VC4 would be a better comparison as well, i'd pick that over d4

I had a Nitecore, I'm now using an Xtar.

The Nitecore was a good charger, the only issue I had was the sliders were really sticky. From what I understand, mine was not an isolated case.

The Xtar has been great, I also like having the readout to two decimal places as opposed to one with the Nitecore.

Hahah I just saw the small screen. Then I dunno liao lor. But then again most charger are the same lah. Just get one from a reputable brand and source and you should have no problem. At most slower or faster charging. Xstar and nitecore are good brand so they are quite safe also. If you can get vp4 for damn cheap then get it. No point spending a lot of money on charger as long as they are good.
