XTAR WP2 II intelligent charger broke! :(

mods please move if in the wrong sub

i have had this charger for only a few days and the AC adapter plug? (dont know what to call it) just broke off from inside the charger... it will still charge if i fiddle with it... is this something i can fix or should i just take it as a loss and get a new one? i feel like i can open it up and possibly solder that plug. just thought i ask in case i destroy the casing as it does seem pretty sturdy...

Did you buy from one of the Suppiler's here
on ECF. Email or call them, you should have a warranty.
I have the same one and mine has a 60 day warranty.

it wasnt... i wish it was. i ended up paying more (compared to another vendor) to get it from ebay when super t was out of stock.

Beings they are only about $20.00, I'd go to an ecf vendor such as RTDVapor, SuperT, and get another there. I have two of these and have had no problems.

Being one that enjoys some challenges, I say try to repair it.

Just be aware that many small 'appliances' may have assembly screws under labels and/or rubber 'feet'.

BTW, you reminded me that I have a sonic cleaner that needs some attention...
