What does the malty taste like? What does the RY4 taste like? I am dying to try them!
Most people LOVE their RY4(I'm one of them). I personally like the Malty Toffee better than the Malty but the Malty is still good and also one that you can use to mellow out other flavors that are too strong.

Tried the RY4 last night and I do like it a lot. Tried the Malty too but there was nothing as far as TH. Flavor was decent. Does the TH get better with steeping? I don't really taste the caramel and vanilla in the RY4 but I do detect just a touch of sweetness. I think what I like the best about it is that it is actually kind of bitter and pungent. That's the flavor I think I was missing from my analog days. Weird huh? I like bitter and pungent.

To me the Malty tastes kind of like cotton candy that doesn't have a flavor added(if that makes sense). IMO the RY4 is beautiful tobacco with hints of caramel and vanilla. By all means try them and if they're not to your liking straight away then let them steep for 2-3 weeks and try them again.

I figure if you're happy with the RY4 right now then keep right on vaping it! It does tend to mellow out a bit with steeping and that's when the vanilla and caramel are more present. You may also want to give BWB hunter's blend a try...IMO it has a bit of a bite to it. As far as the TH on the Malty goes I'd have to say that I don't get much TH from it either so.....I'd let it sit for a few weeks then try it again. You can always trade it in the classys for another flavor if it doesn't do it for you.

I have this most recent batch of BWB's RY4 as well. Right now, all I'm getting is tobacco, a strong nutty flavor, very slight hints of vanilla and caramel, with slight fruity undertones I can't quite explain (I'm thinking I might have accidentally got some of my Melonbacco in that carto, because I don't get the fruitiness when I drip it). I like it, but it definitely needs some steeping. The only other RY4 I've had is from Prime Vaping, and I'm loving it! It's very heavy on the vanilla and caramel. I think the BWB will definitely get better with aging.

As far as the Malty, the reason you're not getting any throat hit (I had to research this one to figure it out) is because Malty and Malty Toffee (the one I tried) are the only two BWB flavors that are 30/70 PG/VG, as opposed to their usual 70/30 PG/VG. You'll get more vapor from it and less throat hit. I actually didn't enjoy the Malty Toffee at all at first. It didn't really taste like anything to me. After a couple weeks of steeping, it now has a nice flavor, but the throat hit still isn't there; again, because of the high VG content.

If you like waffles, try their Waffle flavor. I'm SO hooked on it. It doesn't just taste like syrup (what I was expecting). It tastes like real waffles with real maple syrup and even a hint of real butter. No steeping required. Simply amazing!

I think your description of the Malty was spot-on! Definitely not he vape for me, though. Too light on the TH and I'd like more tobacco flavor. I did have some luck mixing it with some tobacco juice I ordered from a different vendor and it's actually pretty decent. I can't wait until Don gets back and I can get my hands on some more RY4! I may take your suggestion and try the hunter's blend as well. That might also mix well with the Malty.
