So I kept seeing the $39 body from ........ and I finally gave in and purchased one today.
I got the black chrome btw.
Anyway I need a charger and some batteries.
I am a complete newb so help me out here- what should I buy?
Thanks!!!
Ha! Just noticed you're in Scranton... My dads family is from there. All you need is for a juice co to make a coal dust flavored juice and you'll be set lmao!

Ok, so I'm taking a chance on a cheap set of 2 batteries and a charger from Amazon. If you read about a battery blowing up on some dude in San Diego, that's me. If any of it is garbage, hey, I'm out less than $13. I've done far worse, as my collection of unused knock-off clearomizers can attest.

On that score, Kanger T3 and eVod, I've finally found you... Oh Happy Day!

The write-up does say that these are protected batteries.

Call me crazy, but I still use the $15 Trustfire chargers that usually come with kits. I haven't had any issues with them so I haven't seen any reason to upgrade. Yeah it takes a long time for a batt to charge, but that's why I've got more than one.

Watch out for the el-cheapo supposedly 3000mah batts out there. They're normal 18650s that just SAY they're 3000mah to make you think you're getting a better deal than you are. I mean, they're still batteries, and they work... just don't think you're getting something better than that.

Also, I highly recommend getting a tank to go with your new Vamo. If you're going to upgrade your battery, might as well upgrade your cart as well so you have not only long lasting power but also long lasting juice that doesn't have to be refilled that often. The most popular tank right now seems to be the Visions Vivi Nova and Visions STV Nova, but if you're wanting 3ohm heads I would recommend going with a Totally Wicked STV Nova because the 3ohm Vision heads are SO hard to find right now since it seems EVERYONE is using them, LOL. The TW version is more expensive, but it's just as good of quality + there are more colors to choose from (like PINK, the one color of Vision tank I can't seem to find, LOL), and best of all the heads are VERY nicely priced ($10 for 3) and almost ALWAYS in stock, yay! ;) You also can get up to an additional 20% off using the daily forum coupon codes or you can get an even bigger discount if it's included in YoYo (a sale where the discount percentage on each product changes once every hour or something like that... they're kinda fun, and I've gotten some huge discounts with them before).

I've actually used the Ultrafire 18650's 3000mah with great success. I know I'm not getting 3000 mah, probably 2200 or so. But for like $2.20 a piece, you can't beat the price.
