I wouldn't be surprised if they are both the same liquid. The other flavor being referred to is Mellow or Ozone. Not sure about the Ozone but definitely Mellow.

I thought Reggae Nights was...probably what FinallyQuit thought. lol Boomerdude, do you know if it's similar to VZSC Island Tobacco? I have that, I don't have the other. This sounds good.

I'm trying to narrow down what I taste when I vape Island Tobacco. The descriptions for these things are not exactly helpful. I don't get coconut like the reviewers did, but whatever it is, I like it! And, if I ever get my hands on Lemon Sicily (yummers!!) I'm making some of this. . .

Boomer, you always post the coolest recipes!!

I only post recipes that I think others will like. I also do a lot of experimenting with different flavors, although I am partial to tobacco mixes. I would love to post my recipes that include extracted tobacco flavors, but most folks don't do extraction. It's easier than mixing a recipe and will save you money in the long run. Not to mention the flavor. I'm vaping away on my Kuba-Kuba juice right now and it is EXACTLY like the cigar it was extracted from.

Well, I just had to come over here and READ this recipe thread, but found the names/flavors didn't tell me whether this would actually be an enjoyable vape!? My Mother (still kicking at 93) told me as a youngster NEVER to eat yellow snow!! (grew up outside Seattle area and skiid a LOT!)
BUT.... now after reading some of the comments, and liking mild tobacco flavors also - perhaps I'll try some. At 68 yrs old, what do I have to loose?
Now, the nic of 'yellowsnow', hmmm, either you have a good sense of humor, or you really liked his 'juice'??, or are blond?? or...
.... ya'll are just too fun here on ECF!

Do you know if there's an ECF thread pertaining to extracting flavors from plants etc? I'd be interested in taking a gander at the process.

I don't know of any threads, but I do see plant and seed extraction mentioned here and there. You may want to take a look at the Tobacco Extraction sub-forum and in the General E-Liquid forum there is a thread called Natural Extracted Tobacco, a poster in that thread with the name scarface is pretty knowledgeable about that type of extraction. Just pm her and tell her I sent you as a way of introduction. She's a friendly American ex-pat living in Australia.

Mild tobaccos?.... I think the best tasting, especially as single flavored vapes would be, EcX TBx -234 Sam Soe & Smooth, Hangsen BD, RY1 & RY4, FA Shade, 7 Leaves & Oba-Oba.

I'll let you know if I find anything that pertains to extracting flavors from plants. I'm curious about what kind of machine you have that 'should do this' - perhaps I'm just an old and cautious person, but I wonder if YOU might end up with more "yellow snow" !! HAHA

It's actually a Iso2 it is a Isomerizer. Some have called it a mini still I'm gonna try extracting natural tobacco and see how that works. I haven't used it in a very long time it is used to make perfumes and other things, but I do know how I will extract the tobacco just not sure how it will turn out. I'll be posting results.

'Finally got the Reggae Night and got around to mixing this one (how could we resist with a name like 'Yellow Snow'?!).

After 2 hours in the ultrasonic we were pretty sure this was one of nastiest blends we'd ever vaped! We love Lemon Sicily, but the "pine" in the Reggae Night was just crazy-intense & overwhelmingly 'green' (but not at all 'green' like the name implies...and we2groovycool old hippies would have recognized any hint of that kind of 'green'). So into the 'probably pitch it but let it steep & see how it might change box' it went...

That was mid September, and we're just getting ready for another major mixing session...so out come all boxes of bottle (and the drip attys for testing).

When I grabbed this bottle, I winced, opened it and smelled it: "Wow, the "pine-green" isn't nearly as intense as it was - neither is the lemon. There's a new 'mellow-blend smell' that's developed". Hmmm...well, testing is what we were doing, so into the atty it dripped.

This is gonna be tough to describe! The pine-greenery of the Reggae Night has lessened substantially (to the point it's almost not recognizable as pine) but 'pine' is always recognizable and so is this; the lemon-bite-zing of the Lemon Sicily has also lessened (and we'd never guess it as Lemon Sicily, although we might guess 'lemon' of some type or other). The "blend taste" is unidentifiable, but it's definitely herbal (again, not the kind of herb that 'Reggae' would imply), with a hint of sweetness.

We detect no 'tobacco' and it's surprisingly 'light & airy'...so much so that we're wondering how we could give it a 'bass note' for some depth. Perhaps some Tobacco Absolute would do the trick (???) - but that would likely make it even more 'green', and that is something we think it doesn't need. We've got a bottle of the Rustica TA diluted and ready to try (it's supposed to be less green). Hmmmm - our NET (very neutral, from organic, unflavored tobacco we used for stuffing analogs), always adds some nice depth - maybe that'd work.

We're both on the edge whether to pitch it or 'work with it'...so I just put a ml in a tank (Davide glassomizer, 2.5 ohm coil @ 4.0) so we can vape it awhile and see what it's really like. A few hits off a dripping atty does not indicate whether or not something is vapable for hours.

BUT.... now after reading some of the comments, and liking mild tobacco flavors also - perhaps I'll try some.
Even after steeping almost a month and a half, we don't get "mild tobacco flavor" - it's still quite intense to us.

By itself it taste to me like Oba-Oba or Hpno.
We haven't tried Reggae Night alone, but with the strong pine notes we can't imagine it tasting like either of those. But we can imagine adding a smidge of either of those to this mix!

Overall

- if you know you like either of the main flavors, then we think it's worth mixing up to check it out...but not if you don't like "pine"

- definitely expect it to change as it steeps...a LOT

- the name "Yellow Snow" is absolutely perfect!
