After many years of smoking my teeth have a rather weathered look to them. It's kind of late in the day for me to start going to the dentist to get them whitened and besides, I have other priorities for my dollars. I was just wondering if anyone had noticed a difference in their teeth. Will the nic vape add further yellowing? Not really worried about it but just curious.

That doesn't make sense. After years of smoking your teeth get brown, black stains and build up that has to be scraped off... even under the gums! Painfull! I still get some staining from coffee but it is minimal. I can't wait for my next cleaning appointment! My DA will be thrilled. A definate advantage to e-cigs!:D

Thanks for the advice. I probably should see a dentist. It's been over a year since my last cleaning. It's one of those "let sleeping dogs lie" things since they aren't bothering me. Believe me, I've had my share of gum cleaning, etc. No fun. Like I said I was just curious. Now that I'm not smoking (well, maybe one or 2 a month) once they get cleaned maybe they'll stay that way for awhile! Dental insurance is the pits, tho.

Its so much easier to keep teeth white now, all it takes for me is a toothpaste with whitening in it to have a fresh smile. It barely used to help anything at all when I was at 45 analogs a day but now I see them whitening without having the dentist do it! The coffee, which also stains, doesn't set so hard. Or maybe it was that combo of the two..
