I love VV and I really tried to like all their flavors, but some of them were so harsh and burned my throat and mouth/nose. I had to stop ordering from them completely. I don't think I have an allergy, per se, but I'm definitely sensitive to alcohol in juice. When I was doing DIY I wouldn't even touch it, diluted with distilled water instead. I tried heavy vg and minimal pg, that made such heaviness in my chest!! Then heavy pg dried me out so bad! So, I kind of stick with around 50/50 if I can choose, 80pg/20vg is a little drying but not bad enough that my eyeballs felt like they would shrivel up and fall out of my head, I just have to switch to another concentration after a couple hours. 70vg/30pg is about as vg heavy as I can comfortably go.

I feel really fortunate that I'm not allergic to anything that I know of, that sounds like such a horrible thing, ingesting hidden allergens and fighting for your life.

I have been at the hospital today with my sister, she had surgery and gets to go home tomorrow. I left her my indulgence mod with some WTA RY4, she said she'd rather eat the nic patch the doctor gave her. I told her it's better than no cigs until release time tomorrow! Of course I stealth vaped all over the hospital and lit up as soon as I got "off campus" aka into my car! I'm going to be babysitting her tomorrow, and I always smoke like a fiend when we are together, so I'm already planning to have an off day and not beat myself up over it. I can get back into a better routine after she's recovered.

We should boycott all the venders that lack transparency! Some never respond. some respond with an attitude and some are very upfront. We are not looking for their magic recipe, we need to know what we are vaping.

I agree. One thing that really concerns me - as someone with food allergies - what's going to happen when someone with a peanut allergy or strawberry allergy gets a mystery juice (I hate vendors with ambiguous juice names ) with one of those flavors in it. Especially since more and more vendors are using "natural" and "organic" flavorings.

I'm sorry, but I don't think labelling regs are a slippery slope to downright banning, and I think that the more people are exposed to e-cigs, the more likely something really bad is going to happen, and that would be WORSE than a few rules and standards, IMHO.

I was all for regulation when it was proposed. I was also in the minority. People were afraid all that would be left is Blu. Juices are these people's livelihood. They will comply if they have to and if it costs a dollar more per bottle to be safe... I will gladly pay it.

Reporting in, after spending the whole day forcing my sister to rest and watching her smoke like a stack, after warning her that she's probably going to start bleeding like a stuck pig [I know because I did after the same surgery every.single.time I smoked] I can happily report that I did better today than I ever have! Somehow being in her house [she smokes inside] inhaling all her second-hand smoke just really did enough for me. She and her friend kept making inane comments like "you look like you're over there doing illicit substances" and "I'm surprised you never get pulled over for using that thing" and even one "I have an electronic cigarette, what is that thing you have?" I'm glad to be home!

Hope you all had a great day, I have to catch up on the happenings around here, the whole day without internet, those withdrawals are almost as bad as the cig ones!

Can anyone throw any ideas my way? Already contacted VV and while friendly and supportive of my issue, they didn't offer me any answer as to what could be causing it, or what flavorings they use ("every juice is different").

You might also check out Velvet Cloud Vapor. Their juice is all VG and they make all of the components themselves. They would probably tell you exactly what is in their juice. Meanwhile, I hope VV helps you. It is in their best interest to make their customers happy.

My juice vender who has been smoke fee for 4 years suggested I try the evod. I am liking it. Im still smoking but I never change over 100% but the cravings are being handled. I used to use a DCT but I cant fill them. This is a bottom coil and what a difference. Thought this might help someone

On a side note I love my evod . it is the only tank I use. I've had a bad few days. I had a family emergency and had to go 3 days with no vaping. I'm glad to be able to vape again. I smoked a PAD when I couldn't vape.
