I have nothing to say, but I just want to hit 200 posts. Yay!

Ok, fine. Um... I'm going to order some Ego Twists but I can't decide if 2 650 mah batteries will get me through a day? (But I like how short they are.) There, that sounds important. :p

And you did it right here!!!

Thanks for all the comments guys! You guys are the best! The BF is 28 & he was born with the loss in the one ear, it's a genetic thing, his dad is deaf in one ear & his cousin has hearing aids. He also can read lips really well.

Ah! Okay:)
Give him some time then:)
He'll discover signing is much easier than trying to read lips.
Lot's of misunderstandings with that practice!

Oh, Kittyn. TOO funny. And you rationalize just like I do. Make the man his cookies, and that is decidedly permission to purchase several other juices that the smell of the vape will be acceptable to DH. I mean, you ARE trying to make him happy, right?

What vendor is HLV. I can't figure it out at the moment. Glad you like the juice.

Sorry, that would be me typoing, should be GLV; Good Life Vapor. Or maybe me talking to my husband at work while trying to type (He sells alcohol and was complaining about having to redo the Miller display, so it's possible I had High Life on my brain and mashed the initials). It either case, It SHOULD read GLV, sorry.

Alissa Jazz gets eczema pretty bad in spots. I really had no idea what it was until I met her and I'm pretty OCD about knowing everything (when I was a kid I read the entire set of encyclopedias) so I researched the heck out of it. There's 2 things to try and both have had amazing results with hers. Calamine lotion believe it or not seriously cleared up a patch on her leg. Also lecithin. Not just taking it but open a capsule and rub it on - amazing results. Actually taking it works wonders too on various things. Since I'm taking it my Crohn's and stomach issues majorly subsided. I don't generally believe when I hear about "the amazing effects of" *insert miracle cure here* but I'm at the point (and anyone with chronic pain knows the feeling) where I'll give anything short of human sacrifice and devil worship a try and I could be swayed on the sacrifice thing maybe :p
Both are cheap, harmless and worth a try so why not try it?

Dale... That is where I have been. Mentally I'm OK. Smoking and vaping, more smoking lately. As the pain increases... I wsaa gonna answer later but that quote worked so well. :)

I need to get this off my chest, hope you don't mind ... it has nothing to do with vaping.

I'm scared to death to be put to sleep. When I had my son 25 years ago it was an emergency c-section.
During the surgery I came up out of it and got loose from the restrainst and started fighting them because
I thought I was dying. (couldn't breathe) I had the bruise's and swelling's to prove it so no, I didn't imagine it.
Afterward's I ask the doctor what happened & he got all defensive & angry with me & refused to discuss it so
I know he (they) screwed up royally somewhere during the procedure:mad: Needless to say I never saw him again.
And yes, I know things have changed since then & they do things better ... doesn't change how I feel.

Huggs. Jut make sure you tell the anesthesiologist this...

Hi, I'm back & I'm lazy so I'm pasteing this over from my first home page so......
Okay! Okay!
I'm not finished reading but started to feel like I should stop and let you know
I'm back home ... nothing was done except for an x-ray. Surgeon doesn't think the
teeth need removing. He say's I'm having "menophause" in the mouth
Stop taking any new med's started this year ... there are a few.
Does not think Vaping is an issue ... Switch from four Tylenol to 4 Motrin's every 8 hours with 2 Tylenol every 3 hours on top of that. Stop all previous med's & mouth washes given as they are probably causing more problems than they are helping.
(p.s. I'm crabby due to lack of food & beverage, fixing that right now & just took a pain pill)
Uuuuh ...... there's probably more. Oh yeah, come back in two weeks if nothing is better Although I have to say he was very nice and get this ... did not charge me a dime
If things don't "start" to improve in two weeks then we will begin blood work for BMS and hormoral levels to see what to do next.

Did you check the mouthwash for pg OR peg? Did I ask you this already?

Jessermay, so glad to see you posting, poke your head in more often, we don't bite!!

Kittyn, that was total shopping spree permission. "Now, honey, I have here 30 bottles of juice, you just tell me which ones you don't like, I'll pass them on to someone else and replace them as needed." He'll either stop complaining or you'll have a juice extravaganza!!

I'm getting the girls ready to go to their sleepover. The little one's daycare hosts 2 each summer, and since the big one used to attend the same daycare, she wants big sissie to come or she's NOT going. Big sissie said sure, so I'm alone tonight. Can't figure out what to do next!! Drop off at 8:30 pm and pickup at 7:00 am. That's way too early to be up on a Saturday, so I'll probably just go shopping, pick up take out, and enjoy the solitude!

Hope you all have a wonderful evening. Lori, are you out there? You are on my mind a lot today, guess I'm worried about you a little.

Waiving my arms. Here I am, trying to catch up

Just doing a quick bit of catching up since last night...

This is a tough thread if you're offline while the hens (and a couple roosters) are clucking (and you're not one of them)! :D

Well, I've been doing great on the no cigs .... except for -- I had one last night. :facepalm:I obviously have no willpower!

I was at a meeting at work yesterday, and midway through the meeting I received a text letting me know that the final approval had gone through for another job that I've been in negotiations with. So, after everyone else had left I had a meeting with my regional mgr to give my two week notice. And since I am one of only two people in the entire company that knows this person smokes -- and it had been a longgggg meeting -- we held our meeting outside.:facepalm::facepalm:

I need to go back and reread Mr. Mann's post on guilt.

Congratulations! You're very lucky to have an opportunity for a better job in this economy. And no guilt allowed--that's what this thread is for!

Good morning vapers. I'm currently having a cup of coffee and vaping a butter rum juice that's thick and creamy and goooood.

Daleron - thanks for sharing that. My wife had an emergency c-section with our younger daughter and the medical staff almost killed my wife. Twice. Her heart actually stopped at one point. Everyone came away fine and healthy, so we let the issue lie, but never returned to that facility again.

Alisa - I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. I've struggled with different forms of depression over the years, and I've learned that the best thing to do is 'get outside myself'. Take a friend out to dinner, or play with your kids (if you have any). Take interest in another person's troubles and do something to help. Go volunteer to help clean up a park or feed people at a shelter. Anything to get your mind outside your mind, so to speak. Being helpful to others sure puts my own problems in perspective, and helps lessen the sting.

Thank you for the kind advice...I don't think I suffer from depression per se--I'm just getting tired of being sick and tired. Since I quit smoking 4 months ago I seem to be piling on the health issues and I'm continuing to get worse. I expected at some point to be feeling better now that I'm not smoking but sometimes I can barely lift my eyelids or move my arms and legs enough to actually do anything productive. I understand getting out of yourself to stop the "pity party" (as my mom would call it), but this is actually something that I can't really get outside of short of some medical intervention. Not anti depressants, but something is seriously wrong with my hormones and/or endocrine system (Doc says she's sure that at least my hormones are pretty off and would be very surprised if that didn't come out in the labs).

Dale I have an idea that may work to find out if its the nicotine bothering you (although I guess if it is it may hurt) but I know myself that not knowing drives you crazy. Maybe try nicotine gum? Or Swedish Snus? I'd think if it is the nicotine that's the way to isolate it?
I'd be happy to send you a can of Swedish Snus if you want to try it.

I had thought about trying snus but have no idea where to get it. Would the nicotine gum have a similar effect to the liquid nicotine if one were sensitive to it? Even at the low levels the gum is?

You guys, [sarcasm]quitting smoking was SO easy, it only took me from November 2011 to July 2013[/sarcasm]!! Vaping is not the be all and end all, but it is a LOT better than not smoking at all.

Count the ones you did not smoke, celebrate every small success, and don't beat yourself up!! That's rule number 1 around here, isn't it?

Hehe! Soooo easy. I don't like to count the ones I don't smoke, because I haven't been smoking--so now the ones I smoke DO count. Ugh. I'm trying not to think about it because I'm feeling so much better. I can vape without lighting my insides on fire. I did have 4 smokes today, and will probably have a couple more before my day is done. :(

    Sorry! That was just so funny:)

So us "sisters" are in the same holding pattern...let's hope there's a positive solution for us both! I know I don't have mouth menopause though. That google link FQ posted was real interesting! Hope the pain pill is working for you Dale!

I am screwed. This is gonna be very bad.

Justed logged off the website where I order my Gold. Was going to order 4 30ml bottles so I would not have to worry for the next month or so about having it. They are out of stock. Zero, ziltch, none, nada.

I am screwed.

Oh noes!!! I'm so sorry...do they say when they'll have more? I checked LiteCig because I know they sell NLV Gold and they were out too... :(

Well ... it's been quite a day:) I'm getting off now, good night all!

Too cute for words! Goodnight Dale!

Alisa I use general Swedish Snus
The turkey hill markets carry it here but you can find it from their website
http://m.generalsnus.com/Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=/
If you can't find it locally I can send you a can. I had coupons and loaded up :p

I'd bet the nicotine gum would be close if not more than you get from juice as not much is absorbed from vaping. I read somewhere that it takes 9-11 hits of 16mh to equal 1 drag from a cigarette.

Well look at that! 3 Plaid Pantries (like Store24 or 7-11) and a Chevron station within 3 miles of me sell the stuff! Are they in little packets, or is it loose? Their site says it causes gum disease and tooth loss. That doesn't sound like what I've seen described here as Swedish Snus. Is it?

They do both little packets and loose. If you register on their site you can print coupons - I got like 6 cans that averaged out to 99 cents a can.
The FDA requires the warning for all smokeless tobacco however I've read only .05% of illnesses caused bu tobacco are related to Snus.

That makes me feel better...I never would have considered using smokeless tobacco so I know really next to nothing about it except what I've read on ECF. I knew a girl in high school who chewed and it was gross! But she did the spittin' kind. Ewwww! :p

I started considering it when I realized how well WTA worked for me but the cost can be pretty high. I haven't used mine for about 2 weeks because I was doing so well without it. When the mouth reactions started again I decided to break it out again and it's working. It still burns, but NOTHING like the non-WTA. It's bearable. I forgot how good it was! But again, the cost...I may just end up going the snus road. thank you!
