I was a little disappointed at the quality of goods being offered the actual items and the general, how do I put it(?), lack of vibe in the place. Not what I pictured at all in my mind. I must be spoiled here and on ECF in general. That could have been a room full of people with Blu ecigs all vaping. Great that they get together and I will spend more time next month trying to get to know more people rather than scoping out the lanscape and it's offerings.

I highly doubt that they were laughing at you. They were probably thrilled with you. Soon you will be at the pool table making the wicks. Yes it is easy to get spoiled here. When I was in Jamaica I had my evic, Bill had his zmax and the British were stunned. They had only seen cig a likes before.

But I did have a good time. It was just not what I expected. I have been spending so much time here with you all and all over ECF that I forget that I did not know what an ecig was 2 months ago. I am spoiled. I did enjoy myself. I just gave you guys a blow by blow impression of the meet. I expected a lot more mods and vamos and a variety of juices. They did not even have any juice tasting available. Being here I expected more "mine is bigger and better than yours" and just more. More of anything. Like I said I am spoiled by ECF. And I do not think I am that knowledgeable about any of this. I am a newbie trying to learn. I thought that was what everyone was trying to do. I guess that there are a lot of people not as intense as I am (understatement).

The little chrome 650ego with the tiny clearo was adorable though. I would probably blow through that battery and juice in an hour though. It would look stupid with a Protank on it... Ruin the look, like the wrong pair of shoes.

Shari, I just love you! I can imagine if I had gone to the meet, you and I would be hanging out with the rebuilders and trading vaping stories, and your poor dh would be cussing that he couldn't play pool! How about the light up clearos, aren't they cool? I wish you had a better time.

We have 3 brick and mortar stores near my house. All 3 are overpriced compared to internet prices, and one is horrendously overpriced but they only carry name brand Joye eGo products, and Kanger products. They make their own juice and it's also pretty pricey. I shop there as a LAST resort. I love a bargain, and I love variety. I moved past eGo's a while back, so I sure wish the stores nearby would step it up a little. I do go to VapingZone occasionally, they have a larger variety and carry mods and such, but I still bargain shop.

I bought my stainless steel Vamo V2 from Fasttech, got the kit, $50. I cringe when I see b&m prices on mods. I bought my beautiful Indulgence dragon mod from China as well, $26 and a bit of a wait on shipping, but that was the only place it was still available. I have never had a bad experience no matter what country of origin I purchased from, not saying I never will, but 4 orders from Fasttech [one pending delivery] 3 delivered within 10 days. I waited almost that long for an order from Capella in the US, what gives?

All that to say, don't be afraid to order from the bargain stores, all this vape stuff is copied from the original manufacturer [so I hear] and I have fried 2 genuine Joye eGo batteries, while my "knock-off's" are still going strong. And my workhorse Vamo still kicks ....!!

We're the kind of people who LIKE to do research, who search out information. Who like to learn. Most people don't do that, with anything. When I was involved in religious forums, people IRL I talked to about it thought I was weird, or didn't even know what an online forum was.

I love online forums. You find the most knowledgeable people in whatever the forum's about, and you instantly connect with like-minded people. I've belonged to several forums and have enjoyed being in every one.
