The sad thing is that our government understands healthcare around the world and exactly what they are doing to its citizens (us.) The problem is that the right wing is crazy, and the left are corporate shills... actually they are all corporate shills.
I keep hearing the term socialism being tossed around, but I think it's only to cover the fact that our country is now run by fascists. Money rules all, and anyone can pump unlimited funds into our political process; buying politicians and dictating what they push and how they vote-- anonymously. "Anyone" above is to be read: Corporations and Foreign Interests.
Everything is up in the air right now, but I think when people realize just how much better the affordable care act will be for them, they will be very happy it was put in place. I was forced into bankruptcy due to an illness, and I know only too well what it's like to not obtain medical care because of your insurance, or lack thereof.
The rollout sucks, I'm shocked at how poorly it was executed. It *will* get better though, hang in there.

Speaking of legislation............if any of you have the time or inclination to make sure that vaping continues to be available to us you might go over to the Legislation thread in the main forum and see if there is anywhere you can help the cause to stay around for a while.

They had chicken thighs on sale for 99 cents a pound at my supermarket today so I picked up a couple of big packages. These chickens must have been big ones. The size is twice what I expected. We are going to be eating chicken thighs for a few days. I have been seeing a few people on the cooking channels using mayonnaise to coat the chicken before seasoning and putting on the grill or oven so I am trying it to see how it tastes. Will let you know.
I winged it. Hellmann's and thyme, sage, salt and pepper. Stuck them in the oven. Just came out. Looks good. Taste test. Will report back.

I just checked the TN thread and someone there just told me that Nashville Vapor is opening up a store in the town right next to me in the next week or so. Oh Happy! Happy! Happy! I will have to call them and see what is up. Maybe they will need someone to work a few hours here and there or something. They supposedly are opening another store in the general geographic area. So there are two main (kinda) vape stores opening multiple stores. Interesting, some competition.
Glad to hear that! Hopefully you can get some hours in one of the stores. You're fairly knowledgeable in getting new vapers started because you know about the equipment and how it works. Good luck

The chicken with the Hellmann's mayo and herbs turned out great. Not as crispy as when I just use a little olive oil. I like it better, DH likes the crispier skin with the olive oil. Figures.
Little update from me.. entire house is sick. Everyone is sniffley and coughing. Child has spent more time in the tub than outside of it because every time I get him clean he got sick on himself. My nose is like someone left a sprinkler turnedcon inside my head anf ive had pressure headaches all day. Made mashed potato soup from scratch and fell asleep right after I poured it into bowls. Child woke me up saying he got sick after eating all 3 bowls.. little piggy. Girlfriend is home and grouchy because she keeps having coughing fits and a sore throat. I cant vape right now because it kills my throat. Had to relapse to my menthol cogs while my throat is like this.
