Yet Another Charger Question...

Hello everyone, quick question.

After reading through the forums and seeing the problems some are having with chargers not charging the eGo Twist, I thought maybe I would post the specs on the charger I have just to see if it is going to work for me (my Twist should be arriving tomorrow).

I have a Joye 510 USB charger/wall charger I got as part of the first kit I bought when I first got into vaping a year and a half ago. The charger came with my Joye eGo 510 starter kit (Specs: USB charger is Input DC 5v 500mA/Output DC 4.2v 420mA - Wall charger is Input 100-240v and Output is 5.0v 500mA). Will this charger be sufficient enough to charge the Twist?

That will do nicely. Those are the correct specs for what joyetech provides for both the charger dongle and the AC adapter.

I think JoyeTech makes a newer 450 mA charger but the difference in charge time between a 420 and 450 mA output charger would be barely noticeable.

Outstanding! Thank you for setting my mind at ease lol. I ordered the Twist just assuming the old eGo charger I already had would do the job until I started to read the problems people were having with some chargers. Good to know I won't be charger-less when it arrives tomorrow.

Not so sure most of those problems are with the charger. Twists don't respond well to being dropped.
