Hi guys, new to the forum but I've read some great threads and had to join.
I just purchased the Yihi Sx Mini Ml class. Truly loving everything about it.
The only hard part to the unit for me has been the update or upgrade. Im running Windows 7. I need a step by step or links that you've used please? Ive used some but none that have have worked for me. Thank you in advance!

Upgrading YIHI mods is a nightmare. Are you trying to install the latest software with the logo maker? If so nothing I tried everything but couldn't get it work. However there are some instructions that might help you.

If that doesn't work trying running the driversetup with you mod plugged in and see if the driver will install for. If it does the SXi-Q software will now work for you.

Update: I finally got the upgrade to install. If you've already did the last upgrade back in December, you can skip the connection setup on the SXi-Q software and go to the upgrade window. Then open the file SXmini_ML_Class_V2202_20160110-English and upgrade. :thumb:

No I literally just got it two days ago. I'll check that out and try again. It shows it's plugged in (unit has it on the display) and the computer says it can't be used as if the drivers aren't there.

Well today I uninstalled everything and the reinstalled just the Sxi-Q software. I went to the upgrade section of the Sxi-q main screen and and it showed the update and I hit install. Oh I plugged the unit in before opening the software. (It hasn't shown that it is connected at all). So I then went to the connection tab it it would not show "Connected" and niether buttons did anything. So I gave up and unplugged the unit. Then the unit wouldn't turn until I took the battery out. Then when I went to the main menu it showed advanced not the Senior in the first box. So it upgraded part of it.
Any help on the rest. I.E. The next update I should download for the rest??
Another note: my charging port won't allow the wire to be plugged in all the way? Anyone else?
Thanks for all the support everyone!

How do you know you only upgraded part of it. What software version does you mod say?

Thanks Hyperspace,
I had used both as reference but you prompted me to recheck if the files (system 32) had things in the right spot. It worked because I'm upgraded now!
The night before I had rebooted my computer also. Might of had something to do with the USB Connection.
I believe if you having problems it's with the USB drivers for your OS version.
It's not for the novice PC user if your having problems. Stick with it!!
Thanks again sometimes the extra set of eyes on the job can push you to do great things!!
