I'm all for it! The more people that make the switch, the better IMO. I really don't see any advancements coming from them in the future. So far they seem to have stolen everyone else's ideas.

The only thing that worries me is regulation. Which I guess I'm more worried about losing the convenience of not having to make everything myself. If it ever gets that far I will have no problem doing exactly what I'm doing now lol [emoji48].

Why are you angry with it?

Am I the only one who thinks big tobacco is in cahoots with WHO and the FDA? Seems so corrupt... especially the propaganda posters that the FDA released inviting ex-smokers with a smoking-related illness to switch over to ecigs for the sake of discrediting them and correlating the already sick, over the age of 50 year olds who are screwed anyway. Oh yeah, they offer full expense paid. Just like Maury or Jerry Springer. Gotta love America!! You can see the poster on CASAA website. I follow my vendor (loyal customer of Clearette) and their facebook is like a stream of constant info so I stay pretty much up-to-date on this stuff. It really sickens me. Especially when you consider that smoking is the leading cause of preventable death and the leading cause (I think now) of death in women. And 90% of this country has no idea what is going on. My mother will probably die of lung cancer from being a smoker for 40 years.

Lol no your not the only one. I would say 90% of everyone here feels the same about big tobacco (and big pharma for that matter).

I'm not happy with BT getting involved in e-cigs in any way, shape or form! BT will destroy the industry as we know it through regulation. They've already started in my state by not only supporting, but asking for and receiving a tax on e-liquid recently. The end game for them is to be the only player that can deal with heavy regulations and control distribution. Once products like Blu are the only thing left, how many vapors or soon-to-be vapors will successfully stay off analogs? My guess is not near as many as today with all of the choices available. It's a win-win for them and a total loss for us.

Yes I agree...cigarettes are en epidemic. That's why the whole mess seems so corrupt. For instance, e-cigs have been around for a while. With success, even though imported ecigs found trace toxins. BUT still overwhelming success, especially when you consider how many cigarette related haphazards- like houses burning down! the ecigs exploding in the face really gets me. any bs to keep the reel going with negativity, which seems 'bizarrely' propagated...by the FDA? How many companies/hospitals/doctors/vendors/workers/economy----- would/will-be affected by a large transition that even Forbes states will take over big tobacco, and we all already know how corrupt big tobacco is, so what is the difference, here and now? There aren't people being paid off? Pieces on the chess board aren't moving in their lucrative, billion-dollar, top-crop industry?

Oh I don't trust the FDA at all. If you dig into who it is they are funding for research to support the deeming regulations you'll understand just how corrupt and one-sided things are. The FDA wants to say "I told you so" and feel good about their regulations along with providing more ammo for future regs and the chosen researchers will be more than happy to provide.

I’m torn on this issue. On the one hand, big tobacco is powerful enough to help make vaping mainstream and more widely available. But on the other hand, I don’t want them to completely take over the industry. I like that I can run to the local vape shop or order from my favorite websites, and I don’t want BT to make that impossible. Only time will tell, but I feel like I need to start hoarding my favorite supplies now just in case.

The problem is that BT doesn't want to try and compete in a market they can't control. E-Cigs happens to be one of those markets. Therefore, Mom & Pop need to go. Regulate and ban flavors. Regulate and ban liquids all together. Regulate and ban all of those long lasting, high performance devices. That would be just dandy for the bottom line.

We don't need allies like BT and BP. I think we're doing just fine without them.

BT doesn't care how many people have quit smoking with vaping ... they've already written those vapers off.

They are going to target the smokers who haven't quit yet ...

and folks who have stashed nic ... BT is prepared to wait those people out.

within 5 years ... BT may be the only place to get nicotine eLiquid ... and taxes will be on par with cigarettes.

Haha I was just thinking how we'd find a way to sell like fragrant vapor juice and then extract nic out of patches or something funny, but stockpiling up nic is much more sensible. Think I should search that, unless there's a thread about long term nic storage anyone can recommend.
