Well being that I started e-cigs in August and now already have a nice collection of tanks and a few vv batteries (kamry and vision spinners)
I have decided that I would like to get a mod. But there are SO many out there :) I want to be able to have the removable battery so it can be replaced. The Provari is so sweet looking but honestly at that price I don't think I want to do that as my first. I really just want to see if what having a VV Mod is all about. I would imagine it's better than the spinners I have currently right?

I see people say the Itaste VV3 is a good place to start but again it seems like there are so many choices. Looking for a few suggestions I guess. Thanks so much for any info. I'm still a noob

Have you read the stickies in the New Members forum about batteries and battery safety?

More suggested APVs: Innoken SVD, Innoken VTR, Sigelei Mini.

umm, no I admit I have not. I will go do that now, ty.

I did not see a battery safety thread really but I did find this by Baditude

Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected?

Whoops! Sorry. I just checked. Not your fault. There aren't any stickies about battery safety in the New Members Forum.

Best advice for replaceable batteries: When starting out use only IMR batteries. AW or Efest IMR batteries from a good US vendor is a smart choice.

The itaste vv3 is a great little starter to get you into the whole mod. thing. It's variable voltage and variable wattage.

At $29.99, it's dirt cheap. And if you decide to upgrade, it is still a great "on the go" vape because it is basically an eGo form factor and you can use the USB passthrough to vape while charging

Great seller, free and FAST shipping. Bought two of them from this guy.

iTaste VV 3.0 is a nice PV. Mods and APVs have removable batteries. This is a big advantage if you purchase a well-made APV that uses replaceable batteries because all Li-ion batteries have a limited lifespan. When the iTaste VV 3.0 non-removable battery goes south (probably within a year under daily use) you will need to replace the whole unit for $29.99. If you are using replaceable batteries in the APV you just replace the battery for $10 or less.

Thanks for the link, but yes I am looking to go with one that has the replaceable battery. That is a very nice price though and I appreciate it very much. I guess it would still be better than my Spinner that only does the voltage. Hmm, I still might think about this one as that would be a good way to see if I can get a handle on the whole voltage/watt settings :)
