What's up everybody? Been vaping for quite a while, but haven't been on in a long time until a few days ago. I feel like a noob again. I kept seeing the term rba wondering what it meant. We are rebuilding our own attys now? Sweet! I really like the sound of that. Can 306 attys be rebuilt? I have a graveyard of old 306 Cisco attys that are waiting to be resurrected. Can someone please walk me through what I need to do, buy, and where to get it? Also, any tips would be awesome.

You have to understand that I know nothing about rba but am very interested in checking it out. Any links or tips would be very appreciated.

Not sure if this is relevant but I typically use 2.5 ohm cisco 306 with around 4.3-4.4 volts.

The attys you mentioned can be cleaned and dry burned but not rebuilt. You have to pickup a rebuildable atty thats meant to be rebuilt. A vivi nova tank is a good place to start. You can pick up replacements heads or/and rebuild them. Theres a plethora of options for wicking materials and coil options. Just be sure to do loads of research before you try. Check out some youtube vids. There priceless when it comes to how to vids.

I'm new to rebuildables myself. It takes know how and a lot of patience. But I like the independence of it the most of all. It's rewarding to vape on a coil you made yourself for less then a penny. I have a stock pile of cartos that i'm still gonna use (because i'm so cheap) and they have there purposes but I have no planes of buying more. I see no need to.

I keep a carto tank handy when I travel sometime rebuildable stuff can be finicky. I ve had my kayfun and ody flood out because of elevation changes. A trusty carto tank I can always pull over fill and go in 5 MIN if my 200$ tank isn't working right!

Igo-L is also a good and easy rebuildable dripping atty.

Thanks. I will check it out in a sec. Unfortunately I am a slave to the satisfaction that dripping offers, and the convenience of easily fitting a PV in my pocket. I am waiting for an MVP to arrive. As I understand it comes with a couple of tanks. I've just never really had a good experience with tanks and cartos. They always taste burnt, or don't seem to have the taste or warmth I love.

Tanks seems to have become the preference since I've been away.

Thanks for the replies guys. It sucks to hear that my mass collection of 306 attys will be of no use. I will use one for a month or two, (clean using alcohol, dry burns etc.) but nothing is better than a new 306. I have a small box of old 306's that I will probably never use again. I guess I need to toss them but I'm like an atty hoarder.

DO you have a DCA? That will bring new joy to your 306 attys.
